It's roomy enough to carry my computer along with all the other things that I like to have with me while navigating the city. I like the tough-looking exterior too; very professional looking without screaming that there's a laptop inside! Lifetime warranty is a nice bonus. …

Functional/protective, always buy 15" version
I am really happy with the organized storage, functionality, and protection this bag provides. But, even with a 13" MacBook Pro it I am really happy with the organized storage, functionality, and protection this bag provides. But, even with a 13" MacBook Pro it's a little tight. I would recommend going with the 15" bag version, even if your laptop is smaller. I think the 15" bag would allow easier access and room for a laptop & a 1" binder. …

Love this stylish bag
Where messenger bags are concerned, I want one that can zipper shut. This model from Crumpler does that, with an elegant fold-over Where messenger bags are concerned, I want one that can zipper shut. This model from Crumpler does that, with an elegant fold-over top.
I love the materials, the colors, and the quality. It is very much like a fold-over Belkin bag but with better materials, more foam for laptop protection, and the ability to stand up on its own. (The Belkin bag is half the price but feels plastic-y.)
I would have given the bag 5 stars if there were pencil slots and smaller open pockets, in addition to the one big zippered one, inside. As it is, smaller items, such as pens, combs, snack bars, etc. slosh around in undivided pockets. …

Nice bag, but lacks versatility

There is little chance of water entering the laptop com This is a nice bag with clean lines and a simple well thought out design. There is little chance of water entering the laptop compartment and little chance of losing stuff out of the bag. Both appear to be problems with other messenger style bags, but not this one. So full marks to Crumpler for the design and materials. There is plenty of room for your Macbook pro 15” (even with a hard case on the retina), iPad, iPhone and charges. You could also fit in a small writing pad and sundry small items. If this is all you carry then this bag is great.
Unfortunately for me this bag does not measure up for my daily commute or at the airport. I find I need 10-20% more space. The bag fills up quickly and when the bag is full it is difficult to extract and replace the laptop. This is a real nuisance at airport security. Also when the bag is full/heavy the strap is fairly uncomfortable as the shoulder padding is minimal. A wider strap and/or more generous padding would help a lot. There is no grab handle and while I don’t find this to be a problem it is something to be aware of. Finally not all versions of this bag seem to have a padded iPad pocket. I am not sure the padding adds much, apart from weight and bulk, but this may be important to you.
If you just need a bag to carry around the minimum then this bag is well worth considering. If you need more versatility and are only prepared to buy one bag then this bag may not meet your needs. Still it is a stylish, metro friendly, Macbook pro carry bag and I like it a lot. …

It is a bag pack, not a messenger bag. Unfortunately, to me, the straps are spaced close together and there is no padding where the bag meets your back and nothing to stiffen that part of the bag. Try it on for fit and comfort. …
