    This cable - which Apple sells on its website as compatible with the 5s - worked at first, but then the phone suddenly started giv This cable - which Apple sells on its website as compatible with the 5s - worked at first, but then the phone suddenly started giving me notices that it was not an Apple certified product. Then it stopped working - completely. I don't know whether Apple has created this problem to boost its own cable sales or whether it is just a bad product. But I think that if a company sells an item as an accessory, it should be approved for the phone. Either way, save your money for an Apple cord - although they seem to have their own problems.
