such a Beautiful case. Impressed will be ordering a few more cases. If you love Hot Pink - you will love the Hot Pink. I have the raspberry case -- they look very alike - but they are totally different - the raspberry is more like a red & in some lights Pink.. But the new macBook cases - this is 110000% hot pink. The case is beautiful - the type of pink l really wanted - This case is beautiful. It came pretty quick. Looking forward to trying other colours. Apple you are the best - and spec you are the best. Got no complaints. Bin using these cases since l 1st got me MacBook and have had no issues - as long as you are careful you won't damage you're MacBook Pro - just take care and u should be ok. Such a beautiful case - Totally made up . I love the hot pink and Raspberry - I have me iPhone case which is made by speck again. Every product is amazing ... love it ,love it. …

I have both types of cases on my MBP Retina and MacBook Air and both fit fine together. The neoprene is more protective for impacts such as dropping but the Speck Smartshell is better for scratches. Depends on which is more problematical for the way you use your devices. …

Does the smartshell case on the macbook lead to the macbook overheating and/or prevent it from cooling if it starts to overheat??

It doesn't directly lead to overheating.. I'm still able to use it on a day-to-day basis with no pro blems.. Its just that theres an increase CHANCE of it heating up (not overheating) if you do something intensive...
In terms of cooling.. as it is plastic if the laptop is hot it will take longer to cool down as plastic retains heat.. but it will cool overtime.. …- Answered by Alvi C

Fairly durable usually only shows small cracks on the corners. Speck has a one year factory warranty and is very good about promptly replacing any damaged items no questions asked! …
