100% Satisfied. Could not be happier!
Careful, some of the negative reviews are geared towards the other Belkin 5 dock with audio port which was poorly designed because Careful, some of the negative reviews are geared towards the other Belkin 5 dock with audio port which was poorly designed because the cable would come out. My review is for the most recent 5 dock that Belkin released WITHOUT the audio port. This is the dock I had been waiting for. It has the built-in lightning connector and works exactly how a dock should work. Just make sure you know which Belkin 5 dock to purchase. You want the one with the built-in lightning connector WITHOUT the audio port. Enjoy! …

Finally!! A Legitimate Iphone 5 Dock!!
Finally!! Finally!! I have had my Iphone 5 since October and have been desperately looking for a legitimate, quality dock. I hav Finally!! Finally!! I have had my Iphone 5 since October and have been desperately looking for a legitimate, quality dock. I have tried a few (one off of Amazon that broke in a few days and another one, Sinjamoru, that I had to use my own lightning chord...not a great fit and always coming loose!) I have had this Belkin dock for a few days and it is awesome. It is a very nice quality product (with a nice balanced weight) that you would expect Apple to back. The reviewers below are right...don't confuse this dock with Belkin's first one that utilized your existing lightning cable. This one has its own cable and it works great. I even have a Seidio Surface case on it and it still docks perfectly every time. I have been reading the mac forums and I know you guys are looking for a great dock that you don't have to spend a fortune on (Elevation, Podi-m, etc). Well, your search is over...a legitimate dock has finally arrived!!
BTW...Apple's customer service was awesome. I called to get a little more info on this dock and the gentleman that I talked to not only knew about it, but he owned one himself. So after a few minutes of him gushing about how much he liked it and giving me some awesome info on it, I knew I had to order one. Also, he said if I didn't like it I could simply return it to an Apple store...more convienent that dealing with returning it through the mail.
So, as you can tell, I am very satisfied with this product and purchase experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone and even bought one for my boss. He texted me last night "Wow!! Awesome Dock!!" …

This is the GOOD one

They are likely talking about the first Belkin dock for i5. The Apple Store stopped carrying that one a week after a bought it in December 2012.
This one is the one to get. It does not require a cable, like the last one. It is sturdy and holds the i5 securely. The Lightning jack even tilts a bit to ease removing and installing the phone. Now I can use my i5 comfortably at my desk while working. …

Good charger but does not work with Apple case!!
This charger works great....except that it does not work with a case. More specifically, it does not work with the case designed This charger works great....except that it does not work with a case. More specifically, it does not work with the case designed by Apple for the iphone 5 and 5s. How can the charger not work with the case actually designed by Apple? One would think that the company would test and make sure that at least it worked with the official Apple case. But no, it does not. You will have to remove your phone from the case every time you want to charge.
It would also be nice if this charger supplied enough power to charge an iPad. Its a bit cumbersome having to also bring an iPad charge to work when this dock charger is already sitting there. …

After purchasing one, it quickly became apparent that the connection, jack into the dock input, caused serious cracking noises through the speaker system. The slightest movement, i.e., just touching the IPod, caused serious, loud cracking noises. Figuring, that it was a lemon, and another surely wouldn't do it again (am fairly familiar with Belkin brand) I bought another. SAME ISSUE !
My advice, stay away from this product. I am really happy with the High Rise by Twelve South. The design is actually sleeker, more functional, and definitely a higher quality product! The jack goes directly into the IPod, not into the dock, with another jack from the Belkin dock going into the IPod. …

I didn't read any of the reviews so maybe this was mentioned before. I just returned my dock because it stopped working. When I I didn't read any of the reviews so maybe this was mentioned before. I just returned my dock because it stopped working. When I first got it it displayed the message "his accessory may not be supported". I was bummed. I unplugged the phone and moved on. Then plugged the phone in the next day and it worked..... It was good for about a week and then it started saying "his accessory may not be supported" again. Haven't been able to get to work again for the past week. I wouldn't buy this if you intend to charge and sync. …
