  This really can't be called a "case". It is merely a thin, silver colored, plastic snap in cover with leather strips attached to t he back and sides. I wanted to like this case but when I actually put it on my iPhone, I felt like the victim of a scam. For this 75 cent piece of plastic and leather to cost $50 is ridiculous bordering on criminal. A phone case is supposed to look nice and PROTECT the phone. If you dropped your phone (and you will), this will do nothing to preserve it. • Lightweight Case.....with limitations

  I do like the look and feel of this case and would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could but there are some limitations to the case as a whole. First the price is kind of startling, if it was 35.99 I would be inclined to recommend it to more people. Additionally, as the other review noted during my time owning the phone I recognize its protection flaws. It will protect against most major scratches and normal wear, but it does lack some of the protection of the other cases (I assume mostly to keep its slim size). I also wish that they would have done a matte finish on the inside of the case, although you never see it when I snap the phone in and out (rarely) the gloss finish seems to scuff up around the corners of the inside, something I think would be muted with a matte finish. All in all this case has potential, and likely because the company is so new it is initially over priced and inherently must work out the kinks.   This case is not for everyone, mainly because it isn't designed to provide rugged protection. I bought the taupe leather case for my black iPhone, and it is very classy-looking with an excellent grip factor minus the typical bulk. The ADOPTED Leather Wrap Case succeeds at preserving the slim profile that is the essence of the 5 design while providing good basic protection from scuffs and scratches easily incurred in normal, everyday use. It may or may not prevent the front glass from breaking if it is dropped on a hard surface from any kind of height, but you will sacrifice some of the streamlined design attributes to get that. It all boils down to personal preference, usage, and priorities. For me, the beauty of the phone is not something I want to hide, so this works just fine for my purposes.   Very sleek, elegant, classy case. I'm extremely picky and have been looking for a case for many months. Has a great feel, has a ni ce grip and easy to hold with the leather as compared to other plastic cases.
