Perfect Protection for a Retina Macbook Pro

I was skeptical about getting a "matte" screen protector a I purchased this to protect my fragile Macbook Pro with Retina Display. I was skeptical about getting a "matte" screen protector as I've heard you can lose sharpness as well as contrast. Once I put this on, all worries disappeared. You honestly can't even tell there's a screen protector on your Macbook. I love it. It was actually really easy to install, which I was also worried about because I live in a household with lots of pets (and pet hair). I would recommend this to everyone. …

Very Nice Indeed

Read s Screen is very important, and cost a bundle if one messes it up, so I bought this protector to give me some peace of mind. Read some so, so reviews saying that the clarity was not up to par using the Retina Screen, but my MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina Mid 2014 with the Moshi is just fine, no issues with the clarity nor brightness either. Very easy to put on, and if you goof, you can try again, and again until you get it right. This is a recommend purchase for those that are concerned about their screens. …

The pr I went through several screen protectors that were just a bubbly mess and a waste of money before deciding to buy this one. The price was a bit of a turnoff, but ultimately worth it since it's reusable, there are no bubbles, and it seems to do it's job reducing glare/finger prints. I also feel comfortable cleaning my screen without having to worry about dust leaving small scratches :) The only downfall is that you do lose some of the brilliance of the retina display - there is a grainy rainbow effect, but it is so small and very easy to get used to. Whenever I wish to make use of the retina display, I can just remove the screen and reapply it later, so that is hardly an issue. Plus, keeping my screen safe during regular day-to-day use is far more important to me than having a high contrast screen while just surfing the web.
If you are on the hunt - just buy this one, and don't bother wasting your money on the other brands - they just don't cut it. $40 is nothing compared to the hundreds it might cost to replace your screen later, or the amount it'll cost to go through the weaker brands before deciding on this one. …

Quality is good accessories and installation is hard
Screen protector is pretty good.
Sticky part is only on the black border.
Pro: Good quality. Does the job
Cons: accessories t Screen protector is pretty good.
Sticky part is only on the black border.
Pro: Good quality. Does the job
Cons: accessories that come with it are not enough. A piece of cloth and a piece of cheap cardboard. I've seen better on cheaper screen protectors.
At best would be to have an anti-static cloth.
Covered area is huge and lint is getting underneath right when you are about to put the folio.
Unsticking the folio is hard. It should be 2 stickers on each side so you can apply it straight from the top as per instructions.
If I would recommend it ? Yes. Only if you have patience to deal with it.
Should be done better for the value. …

I am somewhat visually impaired, what I need to know is how much will this help on lessening the amount of glare and helping reduce eye strain?

I have this screen protector on my 13" MBP and to be honest, it really only helps reduce Hi Ward,
I have this screen protector on my 13" MBP and to be honest, it really only helps reduce the sharpness of the glare. You will still have certain lighting conditions that cause glare.
For example, I currently have my MBP on my desk and there is a window behind me. If the blinds are open, I can still see the reflection of the window in the back. The glare is definitely not quite as sharp as it would be without the iVisor, but it's there nonetheless.
I will say that as far as eye strain goes, this does appear to help a lot. It softens the LCD display quite a bit.
Hope that helps!
