This is a slim case which fits the MacBook very snugly. Internally, there is a second pocket which can hold an iPad or anything e lse similarly slim. There are two exterior pockets on one side, which are accessed by one long horizontal zipper. These pockets have small "gussets" at the bottom which expand a little bit to allow storage of a charger in one pocket and either the extension cable or something else (e.g. superdrive, etc.) in the other. There is also a corner zipper that allows access to the charging port while the computer is in the case. I suppose there's some value to that, to someone. Lastly, the handles are nicely padded, and can be tucked inside small pockets, if you want the "sleeve" look.

Construction appears to be good. Padding is faux fur.

Hey, I have had this bag for about 2 weeks now after reading Leiah's review. This does in fact fit t he 15'' MacBook Pro with room to spare. There is more than enough space in this bag (after inserting laptop) to carry 100-150 sheets of paper, MagSafe charger, stationary, notebook, a magazine, and my cell phone charger (what I usually carry in here everyday).

Very well constructed and there are no loose threads as of yet. Only improvement I wish to see is a velcro or snap pocket on the interior to keep emergency change.

You can fit into the bag. But you won't be able to fit your laptop into the sleeve.

Yes it does. I have a Speck hard shell case on my MBP with Retina Display and it does fit. It is how ever a tight fit and I prefer to use the bag without the hard shell case on.
