It Actually FITS!
Finally! After buying several other sleeves saying they would fit the RETINA display MacBook Pro 15inch and all of them fitting t he old style MacBook Pro 15 inch I was about to give up the search.

I got my got my retina Pro back in July of 2012. It took until November 28th, 2012 to find a cover that was a fit. With no paddi ng whatsoever, the case fits around the retina Pro like a sock,...the retina Pro fits snug inside the neoprene case! The Black cover is very practical, but I got the Blue. Very good value. …

Zipper broke in 3 days
On Monday I bought this case, based on the reviews at this site. It did, indeed, fit the MacBook Pro with Retina display perfectly , and I loved the furry lining inside. But on Thursday, the zipper broke, and I had to return the case. Really, InCase? Thankfully, the Apple Store allowed me to return the product with no hassles. …

Incredibly resilient
I own the version for a non-retina MBP. I carry my laptop to and from work every day and it goes in and out of the sleeve at least 4 times a day. I have had this now since 2009 and aside from a bit of labrador hair it is in perfect condition. It very effectively protects my laptop with it's neoprene cushions while slimly wrapping the laptop. All zippers still function perfectly. Well worth the $40 price tag. …

Does it's job
This sleeve fits the 15" MBP perfectly. It's a very tight fight with a faux fur lining on the inside. It's exactly as advertised a nd does the job it's meant to; protects your 15" MBP with retina. …

For the new 13" Macbook Pro with Retina-- Do I purchase the regular 13" Macbook Pro sleeve or the one designed for the 13" Air?

The 13 inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display is actually smaller than the 13 inch Macbook Air. The in case sleeve for the Air will fit the retina macbook BUT it will be slightly too large and therefore a bit baggy. I know this because my sister recently bought the Air with the incase sleeve, and when I tried it with my retina macbook, we were both confused as to why it fit her Air better.
If perfection doesn't bother you, then go for the air sleeve and make do. I on the other hand require a perfect fit. Enter the new contender on the market The Côte&Ciel neoprene sleeve designed specifically for the retina macbook. I'm surprised it's taken this long for something like this to come out but there we go.
I am going to purchase this one and see how it fares but am expecting good things given its specific purpose. Hope this helps. …- Answered by Peter C
