    Thule makes another great protector for apple products

    I purchased this Gauntlet 2.0 case to help cut down on weight of a backpack, as I just fill it up with too much stuff. This unit holds my macbook pro retina 15 and my ipad, with space for the chargers, accessories, and some papers if need be. It is very light compared to even a slim backpack, and seems very sturdy for protecting contents. One nice feature, you can use your mac while it is in the case. Just flip it open and off you go. Only drawback is, if you need to use usb drive or charge it you need to pull it out of the case as it is very form fitting. The materials all seem first rate, and not too many companies offering 25 year warranty, not that it will be around that long, still exudes confidence in their products. It's been three months now, and still very happy, no ifs and or buts. …More

    The outside of the case has a contoured design that allows for airflow under and around the computer while in use. However, with the precise fit of the MacBook there is no way to access the ports while it is in the case. …More
