Logitech UE-6000 Noise Canceling Stereo Headphone
The UE-6000 has a very heavy bass, and when i-device bass reducer is used, the sound becomes the best I've heard, which goes up to the Sennheiser HD800 and 40 other headphones in between. With that EQ enabled, the sound is better than the new Sennheiser Amperior. Bass goes full-strength down to 30 hz at least, mids are warm and lush, but uncolored, and the highs compare well to my favorite for highs - the $700 Shure 1840. Note that probably any other review you read will not use bass reduction, and thus you'll not see a report on the amazing potential of this UE-6000 headphone. It's that good. …

Incredible!! Way better then Beats!!
Purchased these because I heard them at one of the apple stores I visited and man, these headphone kill beats by dre! They sound w ay better for $100 less (then the studios) the comfort is great! And the noise canceling is prob close to what the Beats Studios have. I have owned 4 different pairs of beats including the $400 pro's and these surpass in comfort, sound quality, price, and noise canceling. I never thought of Logitech as making a good pair of headphones for bassheads like me (Hip-hop/Rap, Dubstep, Trap, etc.) well done. Logitech: 1 Beats: 0 …

Where have you been, Logitech?!
These headphones are absolutely incredible, coming from a company that has not really been known for headphones besides their gami ng series one. Great bass, although I recommend that you use EQ to make sure you are getting the best sound out of them (bass reducer makes the vocals stand out a lot more with out completely getting rid of the bass). They are also very comfortable and pretty lightweight. Overall, if you are looking for a great pair of headphones, pick these up. I will definitely recommend these over the Beats by Dre Studios or Executives. …

Push the plug... harder!
I purchased the UE 6000's while on vacation and on my flight back I suffered the cable disconnect issue that another reviewer had indicated. Happy with the sound but frustrated with the cable, I re-boxed it and was set to return. Luckily, a quick look through some forums indicated you REALLY need to push the plug in, much more than you would anticipate. Presto! Problem solved. Sound quality is really quite good and I am very happy with the purchase. The sonic quality really reminds me much more of an electrostatic speaker than a traditional magnet speaker. Yes, they are a little heavy in bass but better to have and adjust down than to have not. Good job Logitech! …

Sweet and musical
I went to the store intending to buy a different pair of headphones and tried these simply for comparison. I am so glad I did! The sound is much like listening to an old tube amp, sweet and with never a sign of stress. …

Avoid!
Not gonna bother talking about the sound quality because the design is so poor. The cord has double male ends and one plugs into the right head phone and the other obviously goes to the audio device. The connection to the headphones is so poor that merely turning your head causes you to lose the connection. I had hoped that maybe it was the cord but that was not the case. The headphones comes with a splitter so you can connect another pair of headphones in and share the same audio source. The cord fit snug into the splitter but the splitter fit just as poorly as the cord. I tried both ends of the cord with the same result. read a similar review about these headphones on another site so it is apparently not a fluke. …

The cord is detachable. Therefore, I see no reason why another, longer, cable couldn't be used.
