Nice Device. The same size as the SoundDock II.
Pros
Sound Quality- Excellent. (5 Stars). The system definitely fills the room with great sound. The bass levels were crisp and mid/lows are very succinct
Setup- (4 Stars). - There are two setup options. Download the programs on your mac and run to setup your system. The Air system must run through your home wireless network. If the unit is far from your router you may have intermittent connection issues.
Connection (4 stars)- Once in a while, like Bluetooth the system drops the device. I had to reconnect, but this has been a rare occurrence. I have listened for hours without any problems.
Cost (3.5 Stars)- Wish it was rechargeable for the price.
Controls (4 Stars)- Since volume and changing songs on the remote have to go through your network there is a one second +/- delay. The same with changing the volume level.
I've had it for a week and love the system. Previously I had a SoundDock II. …- Written by BRIAN U from BOSTON

Could Not Connect
I was excited when I saw this new product which would give me wireless sound in the room I wanted. When I tried to download the s oftware onto my mac, it would not accept my network password so downloading was not possible. It would download only when I removed my password, but that would leave my network vulnerable. Maybe i just got a bad unit, either way it's going back for a refund today. …

Sounds great, but can't play on multiple speakers
Bose sound is definitely one of the strongest for small speakers. This product touts it's ability to play in multiple rooms at on ce, but neither iTunes nor the iPhone (iOS 6) are capable of streaming music to multiple WiFi speakers at once without a third party device. …

Great product
Easy to pair Smith all my AirPlay devices. Great sound, even as a "sound bar" for my TV.

Stopped working
After very little use and with constant gentle handling, the Bose Sound Link suddenly stopped working, wouldn't, charge or turn on . Bose Customer Service diagnosed the problem over the phone: it's the battery. They were sure this would do it. They shipped me a new battery (under warranty) but this does not solve the problem. The next step will be for me to send them the whole unit at the cost to me of about $15. What they send me back may, of course, also not work. I am not impressed. …

Connectivity
I've had the same connectivity issues - easy to set up, and worked perfectly first time. But in spite of re-installing, I haven't managed to connect again, on any device. Very disappointing and frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this product until this basic issue - it's main selling point - is sorted out. A expensive waste of money so far. …

how do you play itunes through the speakers?

Answer
When the speaker is connected to your wireless network there will be a small rectangular box appeari ng next to your volume control in iTunes. Click this and it will ask which output you would like to use for sound. Select the Bose Soundlink Air and hey presto - it will stream the sound from your Mac to the speakers!
