It's more of a fashion statement
Monster was clever in marketing these headphones. They have many people convinced that beats are too of the line quality headphone s, but this is far from true. The audio quality is horrendous. Those who say otherwise have never heard a pair of high quality headphones. When you buy this product, all you're paying for is cheap, glamourized plastic you can wear around your neck.

Kick-rear sound system on the go
I received these in green for the holidays and they are ridiculously-amazing.
The sound is Clear and Crisp, and for a portable-w ith-a-pouch headphones
they look great on as well.
Perhaps the folding over the ears can be iffy-like because they feel like they can snap off, but they actually are sturdy and well-made enough to take on any resistance.
The price looks scary (now that I saw it...) but I think it is a worthy piece of sexy technology for entertainment-lovers on the go.

At first I thought they were total junk but i did not have the cable that plugs into the actual headphones pushed in the whole way . Before i pushed it in the whole way i wasnt getting stereo responce but now i am. They have great sound quality and i am very impressed with the quality. Before this purchase i always doubted beats because of their cost. Mainly because they are $199 heaphones which are pretty close in quality to $20 to $30 headphones but i love 'em …
