I bought this keyboard stand when it came out. It's an excellent idea and really works well. The smart clip feature and the magn I bought this keyboard stand when it came out. It's an excellent idea and really works well. The smart clip feature and the magnetic attraction of the stand to the iPad is fantastic. I have had it come loose a few times, but you get to used to how to open it without that happening. Another drawback, and I've noticed this and all Bluetooth keyboards (except the Apple one) is that occassionally, it types two letters instead of one. If it wasn't for that, I'd have given this five stars. The price is a bit high, but its about what the previous models from Zagg and Logitech have been. …

I purchased this keyboard because I work at the courthouse a lot, and I needed something to hold the iPad up while holding this in I purchased this keyboard because I work at the courthouse a lot, and I needed something to hold the iPad up while holding this in my lap. I was nervous about a few of the others, because they did not have a magnetized section to hold in the iPad. This one exceeds all of my expectations. It is super slim, and holds the iPad in place while on my lap. The setup was extremely easy, and the bluetooth works great. I have had this keyboard for over two months now, and it still has the same charge as when I first got it.
The only thing I would say may be bad, is that you can't have a hard case on the back of the iPad. The keyboard doesn't have as strong as a hold while it is in the magnetized cradle, and I got nervous it would fall out. …

I would have given this 5 stars but after my 2nd keyboard Logitech sent to me as a replacement started having issues with the space bar not working, then the delete button quit, then soon after the letter A......... It is unusable and of course out warranty. If you want to have a keyboard that works more than 2-3 months do no buy this one. Keys just stopped functioning on both keyboards I've had. …

Magnets rubbing finish off Ipad Air
Has anyone noticed the magnets that hold the iPad in place eventually wear off the silver finish in the area where the iPad sits o Has anyone noticed the magnets that hold the iPad in place eventually wear off the silver finish in the area where the iPad sits on the magnets? I added some sticky back thin rubber pieces to keep my iPad away from the magnets but that is just a fix. I am not very happy with this as it has devalued my iPad Air. Other than that I really like the keyboard. …

Constantly disconnects from iPad 2 Air
I bought the ultrathin keyboard for the iPad 2 air. Typing on it is a pleasure. I like how thin and compact it is. The extra funct I bought the ultrathin keyboard for the iPad 2 air. Typing on it is a pleasure. I like how thin and compact it is. The extra function button are useful for the iPad. However, there is one near-fatal flaw. They keyboard will often disconnect from the iPad even as I am typing or leave it for a few seconds. Then I will have to hit a key to get it to reconnect. It isn't fatal because sometimes I can type for awhile without disconnecting and it does reconnect. But it takes greatly from the experience because the iPad keyboard pops up everytime the Logitech keyboard disconnects. This appears to be a common problem based on what I've seen in forums. Unfortunately, this keyboard is not firmware upgradeable, so I don't think there'll be a fix.
Other minor annoyances are that you do need to slide the iPad at a particular angle to engage the magnetic strip. The other thing is that the magnetic strip is really sharp to the touch when it should instead be smooth to the touch. So there you go. I'm keeping it because the keyboard is really useful and lightweight. …
