Poorly constructed
The LaCie brand is usually top notch and dependable. I purchased the thumb drive at the apple store when it came out. The tip of the USB drive that sticks out kinked on me and the drive broke. It is really sensitive and doesn't take that much pressure to bend. The files on the drive are gone and the drive is cooked. I would not recommend LaCie thumb drive, especially for the price. You can get more storage and a better built drive for a lot less. …

Great value. Wish they had a choice of colors for the rubber cap. Other than that the drive is great and has excellent transfer sp eeds with USB3. 16GB space is more than enough for my needs, and the clever design stops dust and rubbish from getting into the plug. Will be buying more. …

Recommended for transfers of Data. Does that include audiobooks, music, photo, and movies? What about sound, video quality? Work with TV?

It's simply a USB drive. Audio files, images, and movies are all data and thus will be able to be sa ved on the LaCie Flash Drive.
