does it produce all sorts of sounds ie: synth, and varios noises to add to tracks ,or is it a plain piano keyboard
- Asked by John D
- Jan 24, 2013
Answer
It's a midi controller, so it doesn't produce any sound on its own- but let's say you plug it into a n iPad, using Garageband, and want to add a track. Add a track for it and you can select what sound (guitar, drums, strings, piano, synths, etc) you want the output to have. The sound will come from the device it's plugged into. …

Will this work with iPad 4th gen via lightning to USB cable?
- Asked by Anthony T from Broomall
- Dec 28, 2012
Answer
No, but it will be able to use the 30-pin to Lightning adapters you mentioned. The keyboard comes wi th a cable that plugs into the 30-pin connection, but the Lightning to 30-pin adapter works great with the newer devices. It wouldn't connect via the USB cable, since the keyboard also has a cable with a male USB connection, made to plug into devices (like a Mac, for instance) that have a female USB port. The keyboard itself doesn't have a female USB port where the Lightning to USB cable would plug in. …
