Great sound, excellent comfort!
I've struggled to find the "right" pair of headphones for 10 years. These came highly recommended from various audio and tech blog s and after listening to them in the store and trying them on, I was sold! Earbuds are painful for me to wear, larger over ear units fall off of me. The BW p3 is the first pair of headphones I've worn that don't fall off and deliver great sound in noisy environments! These are designed for business travelers, so the bass is a little more forward than I would like, but that is by design because bass drowns out background noise from airports and in a noisy environment like my house with three barking dogs, I'm grateful for it! The fabric covering is super comfortable. These headphones are designed to be worn for hours at a time and they stood up to my six hour road trip over the weekend without my ears feeling sweaty or sore. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase! …

My new primary set of headphones
I usually don't write a review for a product unless it blows me away and the B&W P3 did just that. For the past 2 years I have com muted to work on the subway and everyday I have carried two pairs of headphones, one over-the-ear set of Sony's, and the in-ear Shure SE215. I used the Sony for comfort and when I wanted to hear more of my surroundings, I used the Shures when I wanted to enjoy crystal clear audio, and seal out the world.
Since I bought the P3, I have stopped carrying those other two headphones. The P3 has completely replaced those two great headphones. Why? Well, these not only sound amazing, clear, and punchy, but they block out enough of the outside world to let me tune out, and with the volume relatively low, they let it in too. They are VERY comfortable, the mic is in a great position for clear conversations, and the fact that they fold means they fit in a jacket pocket or in their rock solid case. Great buy. Don't even hesitate. BUY THEM! …- Written by Christos X from New York

BUY BUY BUY!
If you are looking at purchasing a pair of headphones in the 200 dollar range, LOOK NO MORE! Seriously, click purchase. I tried the beats, I tried the Souls, I even tried some Senheisers (the runner ups), but ultimately they all fell down! Beats are just a sub box on your head, they are tight on your head to create the tight box to make the amplified bass, uncomfortable for any lengthy period of use, same with the souls but with a more balanced sound. Senheisers are the runner up in almost any model that I experienced, but ultimately the over ear design was to big, bulky and hot. These recreate sound perfectly! they are super light and comfortable for long long long wears! Plus, the fabric lets air in and your ears don't sweat. And last but not least, look at that design, look great alone, and look like they were designed for the iphone and macbook! …

Wow
After a few headphones, I'm yet to find any other perfect sound like this for its price. My brother and I both purchased headphone s, him buying Beats By Dr. Dre Solo HD, and I purchased this. And all I can say is WOW. Balancing could't be done any better. Bass isn't too heavy, nor is it too weak. Pitch is perfect among all songs compared to the Solos. I find them extremely comfortable, and actually more confortable than ome that are even more expensive than the P3. I am a student who is an avid and constant listener who listens to multiple genres and I'll say, I couldn't find another pair of headphones that satisfied me any more. I highly recommend this to everyone, and I tell you this: you won't regret it. I'm sticking with these for a long time, and don't think I'll be switching to anything for a while. …

Great sound, great comfort, quality product.
There are plenty of good sounding headphones out there, but one thing that I feel sets the Bowers & Wilkins P3 apart is the lightw eight design and style. When I decided it was time to buy a pair of high-quality on-ear headphones and tried different models out at an Apple Store, one of the things I noticed was that many of the models that had great sound also had such a heavy bulky feel. These are extremely light and comfortable and still deliver very good true sound. I also like the unique style.
I had narrowed my search down to these and the Harman Kardon CLs, and actually bought the HKs, which ended up being so uncomfortable I couldn't wear them for longer than 20 minutes without a headache. I exchanged them for these and could not be happier. They are so comfortable, and the fabric on the earpads is really nice and breathable. It's nice to listen to music for hours without my ears feeling all sweaty and gross!
If you are looking for an extremely bass-heavy sound or complete sound isolation, there are better options. I like the more natural sound these have, and these do block out quite a bit of noise, just not 100%.
If I had to think of flaw, my only thought would be that on some songs with very deep/heavy distortion-laden guitars/bass it can sound a bit muffled. I've only noticed it on a few songs, and it's not enough to really bother me. 99% of what I've listened to sounds amazing. Vocals, piano and acoustic guitar really shine in particular, crisp and clear, like the instruments are close at hand and the singer is right in your ear. Complex electronic music is fun to listen to as well, you can hear all the little details very clearly.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone and feel like they are worth every penny I spent on them. …- Written by Lauren Z from Edmonds

Do these headphones sound good?

Best Answer
Yes. Out of the box they sound muddy and very bass loaded. Burn them in over a weekend by playing lo ud music and they transform - the treble opens up, the midrange comes through and they sound very nice indeed. They remain slightly bass-forward, but nothing like the Beats headphones. They also drive nicely from an iPhone or iPod/Pad without separate amplification. …
