    Not a bad keyboard, but with caveats.

    I was VERY excited when I saw this keyboard, in fact it was just minutes after seeing it that I ordered it.
    I had the larger of the Logitech solar keyboards, it was just too big for my liking but I loved the feel and no batteries for life is a great selling point.

    So I bought this one straight away.

    I like this keyboard but it does not have the same feel as the larger Logitech keyboard had. I would think they would be EXACTLY alike, but not at all.

    Also this one is MUCH noisier to type on. The keys feel a bit mushy compared to my Apple aluminum BT key...compared to the larger solar too.

    I like the idea of switching from device to device with the stroke of a key, but I actually use my function keys in my day-to-day workflow and need all of them so I switched the "special Bluetooth" keys back to regular F keys. This can be done by holding the "fn" key down (never known what the heck that was for...lol). I thought that that was very thoughtfully executed.

    Its larger brother also had little kickstand feet on the bottom that you could flip out in order to angle the keyboard at you, not here,so the key angle is at a slightly different grade then I'm used to. I'm sure something I will get used to, but...

    If it were a debate in my mind between the two, the Apple aluminum keyboard and this, the Apple would win hands down.

    But they aren't perfect either. The battery life on the Apple is absolutely horrible. And rechargeables barely get over a 60% battery life registry even if they come right out of the charger.

    I'm typing this review on the Logitech and I'm going to keep it for now, but I'm also wondering if it won't wind up on ebay in a month.

    Major update!!!

    Keyboard is boxed back up and I'm back to my Apple aluminum wired keyboard on my second computer and the mini aluminum BT keyboard on the main computer.

    There were a few deal breakers that sorta made the choice easier. But the main glaring one was that upon every restart the keyboard would default back to the state of the first three function keys being Bluetooth 1-2-3 and the keyboard required pairing upon every restart...NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

    As a critical consumer with a taste for quality, I often return gadgets for reasons of poor design or shoddy materials. I have a few of the Apple wireless bluetooth keyboards which are awesome (like most Apple hardware) for the compact form and sturdy build, but their short battery life causes headaches with the flashing "low battery" indications and frequent search for fresh cells. I decided to try this solar board, half expecting to encounter a poorly implemented connectivity process or an annoying, squishy plastic touch.

    As it turns out, the K760 bluetooth setup went more smoothly than the Apple keyboards! I've tried both models back and forth to confirm this. The K760 also has an additional feature I hadn't expected; There are three hotkeys to switch between host devices (iPad/iPhone/Mac/etc), and it jumps between them in less than two seconds consistently. The K760 feels slightly different from the Apple wireless but more similar than in comparison to any other keyboard I've tried. The K760's keys depress slightly further; the touch is not quite as firm as the Apple but not by much; the clicking noise is a bit brighter and louder, but I'm being nit-picky with these criticisms.

    Solar powered Keyboard...

    The keyboard is slightly larger than Apple's Bluetooth keyboard. The depth is about 2 inches larger, and this area is taken up with the solar cells. The key layout, and key size are very similar. The key tops have a slightly deeper curve, and the keystroke is slightly longer. Since the "feel" of a keyboard is subjective and hard to describe, I will only say the is similar to the Apple'a keyboard. Most of the key functions are the same as Apple's with the exceptions noted on Logitech's WEB page. The Bluetooth connection feature is really nice. It is easy to setup, and in my brief experience so far, it works very well. The keyboard is plastic, with non-skid feet. The power switch is on right top, just under the solar array. It's clearly marked, and it's easy to see if the keyboard is "ON" or "OFF", unlike the push button the the Apple Keyboard. The indicator LEDs for the Bluetooth keys, caps lock and power functions come on only for a few seconds and go off (to save power I assume). So, keep this in mind. If your Caps lock key has been pressed, after a few seconds the LED indicator will go off, even though the Caps lock is still active.

    The solar cells charging feature is really smart, having to continually replace batteries is something that we all could do without. Since I haven't had this keyboard long enough to fully evaluate it, I can't say how well this feature will work over time. There are two internal rechargeable batteries that maintain power when a light source is too dim or not present. Nothing is mentioned as to what type of rechargeable batteries these are, or what there life expectancy is. From what is shown in the manual, I would bet that one could replace them if needed.

    Overall, I like the keyboard, and the Bluetooth and Solar features. Time will tell how well it performs. It is a bit pricy, but it also has some unique features to offer.

    This is a great keyboard. I use it every day for hours at work. The keys respond well, and it has the kind of "feel" that I prefer.

    I used to always shut off my Apple wireless keyboard at night because I wanted to save the batteries. Obsessive, I know, but I don't need to do that with this one. It just stays charged and ready for me the next morning.

    And for those times when I need to have two computers on my desk, a press of a button and the keyboard is connected to that one.     …More

    Two Major Problems

    I like the feel of the keys on this keyboard better then the Apple Bluetooth keyboard, but this keyboard has two major flaws. One, it constantly loses its Bluetooth pairing after only a minute or two of inactivity. The keyboard will also not allow me to switch to a second computer connected to my 2009 iMac using display-port. I went on the Logitech forums and there currently is no fix for this.

    Yes! I just got mine tonight, and paired it on Key 3, and typed in the search box on Netflix, and it works like a charm!

    I don't know what other functions on the keyboard will work other than typing in a Search field (I haven't tired the rest yet) but it will work with the Apple TV, and it pairs very easily.

    Just Press which key you want to pair on the Logitech - Key 1, 2, 3 - and that key will start flashing; then go to the Apple TV Settings > General > Bluetooth > and choose the Logitech that shows in the list, and select it and you're done. Easy.

    And I used it earlier with my iPad mini too, and it works great with that too.
