Overview
The BeoPlay A3's deceptively simple design beautifully conceals everything you don't need to worry about behind a black frame trimmed in aluminum. After popping in the iPad, you're ready to experience startlingly good sound definition and stereo separation wherever you choose to take it.
Superb portability
BeoPlay A3 is an ingeniously faceted wedge that allows you to fully enjoy all portable charms of iPad and its rounded edges are easy on both the eye and hand. Lay it on a table and you can tilt it into landscape mode to answer your email; but it’s also happy to tilt to portrait mode as you scroll through a playlist. Stand BeoPlay A3 on a table or desk and it transforms the iPad into an immersive theater or a viewer for multi-media presentations.
Sound components
Adaptive Stereo Orientation makes use of a dedicated, on-board accelerometer to determine the orientation of the sound hub and of your iPad, which then activates two of the three tweeters according to landscape or portrait orientation. So you're always met by highs coming from equidistant sources, and stereo definition is enhanced. The omnidirectional bass is always active, regardless of orientation.
Easy user interface
The volume adjustment and standby button are located on the thin edge, so they're always in reach. There's also a battery level indicator light and a secure docking lock and quick-release button.

Brilliant design & sound quality
Firstly, I think this limited for use iPad only and seem waste money because this device cannot upgrade for further iPad generatio n. However, the design is look so cool. I tested it on the shop. Wow, I love the music playing with such a little rich bass and the voice is clear. So......I take it just after 5 minutes. Now, I like to put it on my desk for watching news, drama when I work with iMac. Certainly, I love to watching MV from YouTube and enjoy :) …

B&O A3 - Outstanding product and sound. Innovative design, quality and top build quality. The only feature which has not met e xpectations is when using FaceTime - the audio does not use the A3 speakers but only the iPad speaker. Disappointing. iTunes, Netflix and YouTube work well via the A3 speakers but not FaceTime (with the latest firmware release). I have contacted B&O and waiting for a reply. I would purchase a second unit for business video teleconferencing when this is resolved. …
