Designer Flaw
Closed my eyes and bought this expensive case to protect my computer .Instead it will cost me $800.00 to fix the computer screen because the snap of the strap of the case caused indentation to the screen and produced vertical lines on my only a year and half old Macair. You see, the strap gets caught in between the two shells when you closed the computer and your not fast enough to get the strap out of the way.

Major Design Flaw
The case looks great from outside but there are two major design issues which make it unusable.
1. The magnet to hold the flap is not powerful due to which it covers the laptop Video Camera and makes it unusable
2. The straps which holds the screen to the portfolio is never secure in its place due to which it never fits in the laptop
One positive note is that Sena customer service is excellent and they did exchange with another cover but it also had the same flaw. I wish if these flaws would have been fixed then this case is perfect for Macbook …- Written by Ajay S from South Barrington

Love this case!
I have had this case since July 31, 2012 and LOVE it! I bought a new MAC Book air after retiring and have used this computer and case everyday since. Bring it on planes for vacations and everywhere in the house! It is sleek, beautiful, rich looking and has never damaged my computer.....not sure what the other folks are talking about and I hope I do not find out! …

It cracked my LED screen
I got this beautiful case that I really wanted for Christmas. In less than a week it cracked the inside of the screen by leaving a big spot where the bottom of the case is located. It also left vertical lines through out the middle of the screen. I failed to listen to one previous review that went through the same incident. This is now costing me $400 to fix it, even though I still have warranty. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Does the case keep the sleek/compactness of the air model, no bulkiness added? Also, can the case be engraved with initials?

Case adds about 1/2inch (1/4" on top, 1/4" on bottom). There was no option to engrave when I purch ased it.
Nice leather. Bottom fits really well. Top can fall off at times, but not too often.

Love the case, however, yes laptop has been overheating since using it. Never had the overheat prob lem when using my old plastic case. Unfortunately, the plastic cracked easily. No easy solution.
