Was in quite the debate as to what case to purchase for my Macbook Air 11" and decided upon this one due to it's sleekness. I'm qu ite happy with the purchase as the macbook fits quite snug in the case and it still offers adequate padding. Does the case keep the sleek/compactness of the air model, no bulkiness added? Also, can the case be engraved with initials?

Case adds about 1/2inch (1/4" on top, 1/4" on bottom). There was no option to engrave when I purch ased it.
Nice leather. Bottom fits really well. Top can fall off at times, but not too often.

Love the case, however, yes laptop has been overheating since using it. Never had the overheat prob lem when using my old plastic case. Unfortunately, the plastic cracked easily. No easy solution.
