Beautiful looking and sounding
finally, a set of BT over the ear headphones that look good. saw these on gizmodo and bought them on release day.
build and qua finally, a set of BT over the ear headphones that look good. saw these on gizmodo and bought them on release day.
build and quality: very durable. metal headband, very strong. also comes with 2 bands for sizing. they feel a little heavy, but the weight adds feel to the good build quality.
sound: this review is only on bluetooth mode, as i doubt i will use wired connection. they are on PAR with my Shure srh-440's, and better than B&W P3's and Beats by Dre. Sound at loudest volume is clear and concise, and highly satisfied as a harman kardon product. these also get loud, even while using bluetooth mode... the only bluetooth headphones that get louder than these are creative wp-350's. for the price, i would take these over the P3's any day as they are cheaper....
Look: as you could see from the pictures, very beautiful look... clean and simple. i just don't like the large harman kardon on the side, but small issue. may be overly large for some, but the cups are very flat and don't stick out at all (even the headband if fitted properly). There is a blinking blue light, but it faces down so not annoying.
Use: volume buttons on the side, and multi use button between them. This button pressed once plays/pauses music, pressed twice does next track, pressed 3 times back one track. This was tested on a android phone, moto bionic.
Conclusion: Worth the $250 tag, from all aspects of look feel sound quality. A steal at that price in my opinion. …

I have the Klipsch Image One wired headphones for their audio quality, and have used the Beats Wireless headphones, and the audio, clarity and performance of these HK's is better than those in all ways. They are really comfortable, have solid construction, with steel headband and leather over-ear cups, and the music reproduction is REALLY GREAT. Some may find not like the mic, as it sounds electronic when on calls, but honestly that is to be expected from bluetooth, so no surprise there. They are a little heavy, but that is because of the materials used, again, doesn't bother me, but some may not like that.
I recommend these over the Beats, and over the Klipsch, so go buy a pair, they are great for $250 and they give you a lot of freedom and performance for what you pay! …

Awesome for Apple devices
Still use this headphones after one year. It's been with me on all my vacations since I bought them. Paired with any of my Apple Still use this headphones after one year. It's been with me on all my vacations since I bought them. Paired with any of my Apple devices, i consistently connects to the last device without any problems. I just wish it's easier to select which device it connects to. Once connected, it stays connected reliably. The sound is awesome for bluetooth and outstanding when connected via cable. Soundstage is bigger and the bass is deeper via cable also. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 and found out that somehow, the bluetooth connection is not as stable with the Galaxy S4 so it seems like the S4 is the issue here. But I just wish it works as well as with the Apple devices. The sound still comes through nice and rich but it disconnects from time to time.
Battery life on my unit lasts more than 2 weeks between charge with around 1 to 2 hours usage a day. Standby lasts for a long time too. Accidentally left it on standby for almost a week and was still able to use it for few days.
Highly recommended bluetooth headphones. …

Just terrible design
Completely doesn't work while charging (the charging port disables bluetooth and takes up the headphone port, why?!). The headphon Completely doesn't work while charging (the charging port disables bluetooth and takes up the headphone port, why?!). The headphones' swivel will pinch your hands (it has drawn blood more than once). After about 3 months of normal (at desk) usage, the headband's tiny plastic connector snapped. Proprietary charging cable. Expensive. …

Fantastic if you have tiny little ears.
These headphones look great, I absolutely love the styling, and the metal band/construction seem sturdy, but the button Firstly:
These headphones look great, I absolutely love the styling, and the metal band/construction seem sturdy, but the buttons do feel rather cheap/shaky though. Another thing someone mentioned thats totally true is if you even slightly touch any of the metal of the headphones it resonates bizarrely loudly in the earphone cup. So any clothes touching it or readjusting makes a considerably loud noise inside.
They sound FANTASTIC, no complaints at all there, the bluetooth range is awesome, could listen to them all the way across my house perfectly.
The problem: THE EARCUPS SIZE!
I don't particularly think I have large, or far protruding ears but after wearing these for 1 hour my ears hurt badly and were bright red from being pushed up against the back of the earcup. They're very shallow, and also narrow, but long.. because of the rectangle shape.
Even if they weren't so shallow and my ears had space to not be crunched in, the earcups are so long they actually press on your jawbone. Which is also very uncomfortable, and unnecessary unless some elf was wearing them with super long ears?
Maybe I'm alone in this as I don't see other people complaining about the comfort level of these but despite loving the sound and styling these had to go back to apple, my ears took a few hours of aching to recover. If you can, try these on in advance. I've moved on to the Parrot Ziks. …
