I have been using the aluminum keyboard for 4 years now and always wanted to have a backlit board so i can work without disturbing my wife. I was always jealous that the laptops had this option but it was not really available for the desktop. I have seen some others but the reviews were never good enough to buy one. Then came the Luna. Every review I saw was 5 stars. The design is elegant and the look in want to have for my desk. Now for the real reason I bought this board the backlit keys. All I can say is awsome. It is exactly the look and feel I was looking for. A perfect replacement for my aluminum board. .

  • Stylish - Perfect for OSX and Bootcamp Users

This keyboard is amazing. I use it at home with my MacBook hooked up to a second monitor. I play a lot of games on my MacBook so W indows is essential, and the luna makes it really easy.

The luna has a nice little function button that lets me use the F1-F12 keys like they're intended when I have bootcamp running Windows. When it's running OSX, I can just hit the function key again and bring up my dashboard and all the other functions as normal.

What I love about the luna is that it's both beautiful and functional. The keys are really responsive and the texture is great. They have the perfect amount of resistance so I can rest my fingers on them without fear of accidentally pressing them. The layout has perfect spacing and it's at an angle that's comfortable for my wrists.

Really, it's just a great keyboard all around. It has different light settings for my eyes, whether there's light in the room or not. The clear border has a really nice glowing effect in the dark and the black keyboard contrasts well with it, which is really important when I'm gaming. Fingerprints may appear on the clear part, but they're really easy to wipe away.

  • Awesome Keyboard!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

This keyboard is awesome. Lights up just like my MBPR. It also works great through my thunderbolt display I know another reviewe r said they had problems with this but I can confirm that it works great with the thunderbolt display and the new macbook pro with retina display. All the keys work in windows and osx for those of you that bootcamp like me. Illumination/Backlights work great. All around feel is solid and excellent for long typing periods. Definitely recommend the keyboard.

  • Moshi Luna Keyboard Blows the Rest Away

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I just hooked up my Moshi Luna Keyboard and the word impressed is not enough. It is the best keyboard on the market to support you iMac. I have the standard wireless keyboard from Apple and obviously does the job. Then I decided to go with an after market keyboard, two in fact. One was the Logitech K-750 Solar and the other was the smaller Logitech Wireless Bluetooth Solar. Both were O.K. but I am never satisfied until I find what is perceived to be the best so far and that is the Moshi Luna Keyboard.
The design is well thought out (a little large) but if you have the desk space it's not a big deal. The feel of the keyboard is awesome. The illuminated keyboard is bright and makes it easy to type in a dimly lit room. The $100.00 is a little pricey but in this case you get what tou pay for. A great buy. I assume this will be my last keyboard for a long time. Buy one you will feel the same as I do.

  • Awesome Keyboard

If you want a backlit keyboard, the Luna is the best one for a Mac. It feels natural, in fact better than Apples's own keyboard. The lighting is great. It is a USB keyboard because of the backlighting, the only drawback I see. Much better than Apple's own keyboards, especially if you want to have the keys backlit and see them while you are typing at night. I got used to backlit keyboards with my Macbook Pro and must have a backlit keyboard. Packaging is as good as Apple's and instructions are clear. Highly recommended.

Just fired up my nice new Moshi keyboard.
I tried it on my Windows 7 PC but it would not work - would not even boot up.
It came with no info or instructions so I figured it was up to me.
I tried it on my MacBook Pro.
Plugged it in and nothing - messed with it for a while and checked The Google - still nothing.
At my wits end I pressed the Luna key and behold, it gave commands. After a few steps it was finally recognized and working.
But not the mousepad - I had to connect an external mouse for that - which I usually do anyway so no big deal. Just odd.
I like my old Mac keyboard a bit better - slightly more refined key action. But this Luna is still nice.
It is frustrating that keystrokes for cut and paste do not work though - have to use the right mouse button for that. Or is there a fix for that too?
I am a writer and I love the backlit keys on my MacBook. It allows me to work at night and on the plane on long trips. I just ordered a MacBook Air because of that - I would have tried the new Microsoft Surface but they do not offer backlit keys. Mac is always a step higher in design quality it seems.
But why don't they make an Apple backlit ext. keyboard? Bizzare.
