Excellent with Some Minor Flaws
I purchased this product for two reasons; to prevent scratches, and I personally prefer matte finish then glossy. The installation was extremely easy with no air bubbles what so ever since the adhesive area is only the sides and not the screen protector it self. This is a great product that is easy to apply. Literally took me one try (5 seconds) to get it on perfectly and I am pleased with its performance. It gives the screen a matte finish and it does help with glare. Fitment is the tiniest bit off but nothing to concern yourself with. No more finger prints on the screen!! I would recommend this product to anyone who want screen protection with some glare relief. THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU MACBOOK COMES WITH A MATTE SCREEEN!! Just a heads up. …

Expensive but does the job well.
It doesn't eliminate all glare, but it does make the screen very useable in a lit room which is what i was looking for.

THIS IS THE ONE!!!
Finally, I found a solution to the glare on my screen!!! I have a glossy screen which makes it impossible to work in any type of light. I've tried 3-4 different types of screen (iLuv, NuShield, etc.) and they were difficult to install, left air bubbles, and ultimately didn't do the job.
I saw this, read the reviews and ordered. I wiped down the screen with the cloth provided (took 60 sec.), removed the adhesive back, and laid the protector on the screen. No air bubbles, perfect fit, and perfect performance. My movies look good and the screen is 100% functional for work.

Yes it does. The cut out on top for the Camera is oversize so the light sensor is uncovered and the adhesive is only on the black edge. I have had it on machine since September 2012. Works fine for me. Good solid protection. …

This isn't the only one you can get, but if you want to protect your screen like that you will need to cover it. Just be aware that anti-glare screens leave a rainbow effect on your screen due to the way it handles light to reduce glare. (I have an anti-glare screen protector on my iPad, I really don't like it and will not buy another anti-glare screen again) …

Hi Ward,
I have this screen protector on my 13" MBP and to be honest, it really only helps reduce the sharpness of the glare. You will still have certain lighting conditions that cause glare.
For example, I currently have my MBP on my desk and there is a window behind me. If the blinds are open, I can still see the reflection of the window in the back. The glare is definitely not quite as sharp as it would be without the iVisor, but it's there nonetheless.
I will say that as far as eye strain goes, this does appear to help a lot. It softens the LCD display quite a bit.

Yes, i believe that these type of matte screen are great for preventing scratches and reducing finge rprints. But it's at the expense of the screen quality. Your high-res won't be so high res anymore. White screens sort of have some crystal effect.
