    A couple months after I bought this case it fell apart. I tried to return through the apple store, but they said to get in touch with Mophie. Mophie never emailed back, so I'm stuck with a broken ipod case. More

    They are a little louder than the built in speaker, but what is most important is that you get a stereo effect like you were wearing headphones. The iPod does not play channels out of its built-in speakers, so there is no distinguishing sounds from left or right, which is a real plus to have when playing games. More

    if you look at the pictures, you will see it is plugged in via the headphone jack, and not the dock connector, meaning it would be incapable of transferring any power to the battery. More
