Ratings & Reviews
Great idea, potentially good product, no support
I have been searching for something like this for a decent price for a very long time. Now it is finally here!
However the on ly way I can get it to work is by connecting the camera via ethernet. When I disconnect the cord as they say you should be able to do after setup the camera stops working.
It does not make sense for me to run 50 feet of ethernet cable through the walls to my baby's room. The box only comes with a quick set up guide. Parts of the FAQ's on the app refer to the User Manual, which does not even exist on their website.
I really do not want to return this but so far I am the second hour in to researching my network, their website, the app's FAQ's, and the tiny quick start guide with no effective troubleshooting, and non-existant "help" forums anywhere on google.
I believe I have intermediate computer and networking knowledge and I have never run into a road block like this before. I would not recommend this product for a non-tech savvy person until a future upgrade.
The quirks definitely need to be worked out on this product. …

Excellent Product, East Setup, No Issues
So as it is simply described, plug it in, set it up, plug it in wherever you want it (wirelessly).
I did just that, out of box to scanning on my iphone took all but 6 minutes.
Great infrared, motor, quiet as can be, 350 degree field of view, limitless mounting options, and quick usage from anywhere, anytime.
Lots of adjustments including brightness contrast, talkback, very minimal delay, and impressive resolution.
I wouldnt let another review simply based on network connection affect your purchase, as I had a question, called them, and was called back with a voicemail (as I missed it) instructing me of another feature I wasnt sure how to operate.
Lots of versatility, and my girlfriend and I both can now keep tabs both audio and visual, on our rampant little puppy. I can even yell at her through the stereo with the audio talkback jack hooked in.
Only detractor for me is the giant baby face and pink coloring of the application icon. =)
Better than every other product that tries to deliver the same …

I traveled frequently, so I can not see my children and my wife. I bought a ibaby monitor, so I can easily watch my lovely childr en and my wife. Whenever I have free time and wifi, I just love to click the apps on my iphone, so I can see and heart what my wife and my children are doing. No matter how far away I am from them, I can always feel we are next to each other. …

We chose this monitor so I could check in on my son while away. 98% of the time it wont connect with wifi outside of the home and the connection inside of the home is extremely unreliable. In addition to poor connections the monitor will only connect to one Iphone at a time so I cannot connect if my husband is connected. There is no way to put the alarms on vibrate or change the alarm tones which is an annoyance. I would not recommend this monitor to anyone and for the price we paid I expected a lot more. …

You need wifi at the house for the camera to broadcast the video and sound.
