GolfSense is the world's first portable 3D sensor system designed to deliver real-time feedback and golf swing analysis. This golf training aid’s patented motion engine uses data from four motion sensors inside the device to calculate club speed, club position, swing tempo, and swing path. The free iPhone app allows you to analyse each segment of your swing from any angle. Simply connect GolfSense to your iPod touch or iPhone via Bluetooth. The application can be set to automatically capture and save every swing in rapid succession or just the ones you select with a simple press of the yellow button. Turn on impact detection and GolfSense will ignore your practice swings and only log those that pertain to actual ball contact.
Review any single swing, or compare two separate swings at once with the GolfSense app (available in the app store). You can even compare your swing to professionals and coaches.
- 3D motion capture powered by the GolfSense motion engine
- Four precision motion sensors deliver highly accurate data
- Phone in pocket option lets you analyse your hip rotation
- Fits on a glove
- Ultra lightweight at only 17g
- Compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad
Did you notice?By attaching to your glove rather than your club, the GolfSense can also take your wrist motion into account – a key component of a good swing.

GolfSense for iPhone
GolfSense device is required for swing capture.
GolfSense is the leading mobile 3D swing analysis product on the market.
The GolfSense app is driven by a powerful motion engine that delivers in-depth analysis of your golf swing and presents it in a clear, easy-to-use form. Important information about each aspect of your swing, from your backswing all the way to your club head speed at ball contact and everything in between. GolfSense provides the most helpful and meaningful feedback of any golf swing analyzer on the market today.
The GolfSense sensor (hardware) attaches easily to your golf glove. Simply slide the strap on your glove through the "belts" on the back of GolfSense and you're all set. Unlike other products that require you to strap devices onto each club before you swing, GolfSense conveniently rests on the back of your glove – always ready to go.

Nice idea poor execution
I bought this last week to try and improve my golf swing. I am about to return my second time due to poor quality. The strap that I bought this last week to try and improve my golf swing. I am about to return my second time due to poor quality. The strap that holds the sensor to your glove is made of a fragile rubber that will tear away from the sensor with the slightest tug. hardly worth $129.
In addition, the sensor looses its Bluetooth connection constantly with the iPhone or iPad. Even with a fuly charged battery I had to reconnect every other swing.
I would not recommend this to others. …

It's very easy to connect via bluetooth and there is no attaching of a device to your clubs everytime you switch them. Worked perefectly from the first moment. New functions like measuring hip rotation when your iphone is in your back pocket is also a really cool improvement. Would like to see storage of your swing data in the cloud. Absolutely worth the money and I would buy it again. …

Excellent for honing skills

Because it att I've been using GolfSense for about 6 months and it's allowed me to focus on improving specific parts of my swing. Because it attaches to your glove you can switch between clubs with a simple touch of the screen. The newer version of the app makes for a better experience and is easier to use. Through analysis I've been able to improve my club plane and tempo. I've also used it to get a feeling for half shots, their tempo and how far the club should go back. The only complaint I have with the new version is that the Club Head speed graph is no longer available. Now it only shows the overall max speed and not where that max happened in the swing. For example, if you see your speed hits its max before impact then you know you're releasing the club too soon. Without this information you can work on increasing your club head speed all you want, but if it's happening before impact then you aren't optimizing the energy of your swing. I'm sure saying that most people want more distance is an understatement. The Golfchannel devoted October to that very topic. Seeing this feature return to GolfSense would be fantastic. …
