Will this case block the sensor that turns the screen on/off while taking calls?
- Asked by James F from Rossville
- Sep 28, 2011
Best Answer
Not at all. If you look at the cut-out on top of the screen, you can see that it is a rather large trapezoid shape similar to other cases in the same section. On a white iPhone it is even more apparent that the case is nowhere near the sensor. I've used my case for months and all sensors operate perfectly. …More

Can I fit an iPod Touch 4G into the bookbook case?
- Asked by Wes J from Knoxville
- May 1, 2012
Answer
Yes. I put my iTouch 4G into it with a Belkin VuGrip skin on it into the case and it fits like a glove very securely. Without the VueGrip skin it is too small and is not secure, but with it it is a snug fit (I have to jockey it just a bit to get it in well) and quite secure. Because it is leather, over time it will surely be easier to slip in and out of the case.
The side volume toggle is not accessible, and of course you already know there is no camera cut out. The earbud jack and the charging jack, the light sensor and the power buttons are all perfectly placed.
It works and I am very glad I took the chance and ordered it for my iTouch 4G. If I could post pics, I would. It is a perfect fit. …More- Answered by Beth P from Easthampton

Does the BookBook Case make it difficult to make phone calls?
- Asked by Janet R T from Rancho Santa Margarita
- Apr 3, 2012
Answer
Absolutely not. You simply fold the wallet section back and make a call as usual, it even provides a thicker, non slip grip. There has been some comments on the proximity sensor being obscured, this is usually on new cases before the leather has been exercised a little and will go in a few days. If it doesn't or it is down to mispositioned stitching then Twelve South advised me they would replace under their two year warranty. Other comments related to purple being able to see your personal details like cards and ID when you are holding the phone during a call. Your hand practical covers all the wallet section when gripped doing a call and credit cards are hidden meaning the only info on show is a partial ID - not really a problem!! I have owned mine for about two months and I love it - its actually looks even more authentic as it gets older. It is very well made with premium leather, hand stitched and the leather is distressed meaning that yours will be unique - highly recommended!!! …More
