It will, so long as your Mac is of a model produced in the last few years. Older macs do not support the 'headphones + mic' type of plug used on more recent Apple gear. The best way to find out if your particular Mic will work well with this is to check if the tech specs from your model include support for 'Apple headset with remote and mic'. The iRig Mic will work with any app that will accept an audio input, for example, any karaoke app, iMovie, the iPhone video camera app, and more.
