how does it measure lean body mass
- Asked by TH from Mississauga
- Sep 29, 2011

The scales do this by sending small electrical impulses through the sensors on the top of the scales and then through your feet and then through the rest of your body. Based on the resistance the electrical impulses come across, this works out the muscle/lean mass, and also the body fat levels too.
Hope this helps. …More- Answered by DT
