    The person that posted the review and stated that the laptop could slide off did not put it together properly. It comes with two clear pieces of plastic that must be attached to the stand. These snap on and secure the laptop from any sliding.

    Elegant Notebook Stand

    I like this notebook stand. It has an elegant and minimal design and lifts my MacBook Pro 15" on a perfect ergonomic high. Furthermore it provides better cooling and the fans speeds up less often.

    I recently started a new job and was lucky enough to be given a Macbook Pro. Only trouble is that this means I had to work hunched over on a 13" laptop all day. They did supply a second monitor, but it seemed a bit disjointed with the laptop being so low.

    The laptop is now raised up nearly to the same height as my second monitor and I am able to type on a wireless keyboard rather than having my wrists hanging on the edge of the laptop all day. My back is happy and I feel more focused. I did't realize exactly how hunched-over I had been until I got this! I can sit upright now!

    The metal part of the stand seems well constructed, and the little plastic caps and rubber strips keep the laptop firmly in place. I would't really call it wobbly at all, but perhaps a little bouncy if you push the laptop.

    The only thing I would change is the clear bar that holds the metal pieces together. I wish it was in the middle or back instead of the front. The angle is fine, but I wouldn't complain it it was a bit steeper so I could get the screen closer to me.

    Pro tip: stick a few Cabledrop cable clips to it and your cables/cords will always be close at hand! I stuck two to the back for power and network, and one underneath for the second monitor.     …More
