The product seems to be good where I have tried it. I am, however, somewhat dissapointed with the update path. As a registered owner of Quicktime pro 6, I expected at least a discount on the purchase of Quicktime Pro 7, but it looks like you have to purchase the whole thing over again... More

Those who think they can just use pro at start...don't. Pro is just for those who know what and how to use multimedia tools. It's features though, if you read the directions, are simple and easy to use over all. More

I never thought I would regret my first ever purchase from Apple!!

Just paid £20.00 to upgrade QT7 to PRO version. Yet I still cannot find the option that lets me burn ".mov" movie clips to DVD.

What a waste of money - even if it's just £20.00.

Ever since Microsoft brought out their MS-DOS in 1980s, I have been hooked on their technologies through thick and thin (I am an IT Administrator for Bluechip company); and throughout this period, I have resisted the temptation to buy into the Apple brand - except the freely available QT player. And today, my faith has been strengthened in Microsoft's Windows technologies.

We all need a reality check every now and then.

    QT7 Pro - don't waste your money.

If you are a PC user, buy something else!!! I know it's my fault for buying something made by Apple for my PC, but this is the complete garbage!!! The PRO version does nothing more than the free Microsoft software that came with my PC so what's the point? It doesn't record video on PCs, only Macs. It locks up and doesn't display videos correctly. It forgets that there is an audio track included in some video files. There is nothing on Apple's website that offers any kind of helpful information. WHAT A WASTE!!! More
