Don't buy the MAC version! Worst Customer Service EVER!

    • Written by from Plymouth

One thing no one tells you when you purchase this program is that the number of transactions it holds is extremely low and once it reaches the limit (with no notification to you) the data becomes corrupt and parts of the file fragment and your reports will not longer tie to the balance sheet and you will not be able to use the program effectively. Customer service for QuickBooks for MAC is ONLY offered by techs in India-there are none in the US-I asked. While they try to be accommodating, the language barrier makes it hard to communicate the problem and get things properly resolved. They have uploaded my file MULTIPLE times over the last 26 DAYS and I now have to go back to the date of the original file upload and reenter all of my transactions because that's the file they chose to fix and they do not understand that it's not the correct file. Do yourselves a favor and do not purchase the MAC version of the program. Run the Windows version using Parallels. You'll be very happy that you did. I am not the only one to have this problem. I've had clients with the same problem and same issues I've had trying to resolve it.

Quickbooks never delivers and blames issues on Apple

    • Written by from Hummelstown

I bought this upgrade about the same time Mavericks was released. There are a few functions that are better than previous issues, but syncing with Calendar and your contact list in Contacts still don't work. Avoid syncing with Calendar as it continually is replicating appointments.

The sync with Contacts does not work at all and Intuit blames that on Apple.

Forget about backing up to anything other than your HD or Time Capsule. The program only sets up a disc dmg on other devices.
