The first time it would only stayed connect to my computer for a few minutes, never long enough to use. Two calls to the help number included in the package proved fruitless. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them, after 2 hours of trying myself -- no good. They even have the supervisor on the line. It wouldn't stay connected, so I returned it. A few weeks later I ordered another one. ( I dreamed of a wireless numeral keypad.) The second one never connected at all. So I returned it also. Neither one worked. Very disappointing. …

The key was, believe it or not, removing and reinserting the batteries. They would save a lot of agony if they included that tidbit in the quick start guide....and also the fact that it doesn't recognize it for the device it is, but rather another full sized keyboard....and you have to do a workaround and select the US keyboard option. It works but it was quite the runaround to get there. My guess is a lot of people return this item who just don't know to reinstall the batteries, I almost did.
Seems to be working fine now, so far so good.
