    Truly Magic!

    • Written by from Hamilton

I am extremely happy I made the decision to purchase the Magic Trackpad! It is like a Wacom tablet for your fingers! It is the most comfortable and natural way of connecting with your Mac. I find it so much more natural than using a mouse. I feel like I have much less strain on my wrist with it! I looks absolutely beautiful on your desk as well! This is just one of those essentials you definitely need!

    Mind Blowing

    • Written by from Easton

This product is utterly amazing for both its simplicity and effectiveness. I'm not a mac super-user and tend to be slightly behind the tech curve, but I've had the trackpad for 24 hours and I'm stunned by how effective and efficient it is. Set-up is simple. If you're not used to a trackpad, there is a learning curve, but I'm finding every moment that my usage is becoming increasingly intuitive. Check out the online videos and the video illustrations in Preferences for some tips.
    Really impressive product!

    Improves your iMac experience

    • Written by from BROOKLYN

It improves your iMac experience tremendously. scolling and tapping with your fingers on this wide pad makes moving the mouse with your hand on a mouse pad very primitive.
the funcionality of the trackpad is the way it should be done. I had my imac for nine months and I had a trackpad for 2 weeks and I kick myself for not getting this sooner.
And if you own a mac laptop as well then having the trackpad for your iMac makes total sense because now everything works the same. The way I wound up buying the track pad is one day I was at a electronic store which had the imac with the trackpad, I started playing with it and it just hit me, using the trackpad just made a lot of sense. The next day I went to an Apple store and got one. I love it, I love it, I love It. Thank you Apple for making sense of the computer and making it fun to use. I switch from PC to imac nine months ago and never regret it. Apple keep up the good work. Love ya. Steve Jobs R.I.P. and thank you.

Need better support for Apple stuff

    • Written by from Jackson

Magic Trackpad is the best. I'd never go back to mouse again.
However, desktop and web App Stores are not supported; i.e., I can't do the 2-fingered back/forward swiping for browsing. Seems kind of intuitive.

    AMAZING PERIPHERAL.

    • Written by from Honeoye Falls

I got this for my new desk for my birthday. Plugged my MacBook Pro into a 40" 1080p TV, paired this and an Apple Wireless Keyboard, and I love it. The Trackpad is just great. I was somewhat skeptical if I'd want the wireless keyboard and trackpad since I already have them built-in to my MacBook Pro, but it just lends a whole different experience to using the external monitor. Having the Trackpad off to the side of the keyboard not only improves the ease of typing (you don't have to avoid the trackpad with your palms), but drastically improves the trackpad, as well. The Wireless Trackpad is much larger than the one built-in to my 15" MacBook Pro and sits at a pleasant angle, anywhere I want it. The angle, size, and mobility of it make it a breeze and a blast to use. Because it slants down to meet the surface it's on, you can position your wrist between it and you as you would with a keyboard. This subtle difference from the "from-the-side" approach I find myself using on my MacBook Pro's built-in trackpad makes excellent use of the extra real estate and generally provides a far superior experience.

    WELL-worth the pricey price-tag.

Also has EXCELLENT battery life. I've been using it for a few days and it still reads "Battery Level: 100%".

I highly recommend this (especially in conjunction with the corresponding keyboard) to anyone who uses any kind of Mac at a workstation—Laptop or not.

I am really happy. Had it for a few weeks and I sold the Magic Mouse. Keeping a back up USB mouse, this is great!
Can program gestures with 3rd party software thats readily available. My four year old can use this with out issues. Great with lion.

    AWESOME!!!

I love my MT. I got it today and I love it. It is better than the one on my MacBook Pro. It is very well built and I love everything about it. However, it could use some design modifications. It may hurt your wrist after a while. I love how I can use it where ever and works perfectly. Great battery life, cool design, and awesome features.

    Great mouse

The Apple Magic Trackpad is a really great option if you want to use all the gestures of Lion. It clicks from those bumps on the bottom, but you can tap. It is exactly like the trackpad on the MacBooks. It just works.

    Simply Amazing!

    • Written by from Jeffersonville

Over the years, I've had several laptops that come with the finger pad(s), and I've never been able to get use to them, prompting me to purchase a mouse. That all changed today with the purchase this Magic Trackpad. I just can't believe how easy it was to set up, and immediately get used to. It just makes the iMac even more fun and more easier to get around on. It's everything it's advertised to be. Kudos again to Apple.
The more I look into all these Apple products the more I'm amazed at the technology. Do yourself a favor and get Magic Trackpad.

    Magic indeed!

    • Written by from Melbourne

Buy this product. At the price it is small change compared with how it will transform the way you interact with your computer. Being an iPod Touch owner I am used to interacting directly with its screen. Now, with the Magic Trackpad, you can use similar gestures to control your computer. Using your fingers to move the cursor or swipe pages soon becomes so natural and intuitive that you wonder how you got by with a mere mouse. Freedom from the curse of cables with the Bluetooth connectivity is just the icing on the cake. Super easy setup too. Do yourself a favour and buy a Magic Trackpad.

    • Written by from Salt Lake City

Very responsive and intelligent. I love how I can do everything with a tap or swipe of a few fingers. No need to grab a mouse, position it, then click a button. Hand and wrist movements are now easy and economical with the track pad. I love it.

It's the most un-Windows product ever.

    • Written by from Pasadena

Well, thanks a lot Apple for that horrible packaging that wasn't at all perfectly minimal and that insanely complex pairing where I had to press a button and watch everything happen automatically and flawlessly. I swear, every new piece of Apple hardware is the best thing ever. Works on glass desk (that's too heavy to replace), gestures intuitive and much better than moving around the previously awesome Mouse. Seriously, doesn't even seem expensive with the build quality. Wish there were six stars for this one.

This product is by far genius! I recommend this product to every one who doesn't want to use a mouse and wants to spice things up a bit at their workplace or home.

Just tried it out. I have Lion installed and it is super easy to navigate with it. I even dare to say it can beat trackpad of mac laptops.

I think in the future they should have it the default accessory for new macs.
