    in theory it works, practically speaking no

    when they do work, they are amazing
    but since I purchased these from the Apple Store in June, they have been wrought with problems

    The blue earphone tips after 1 month of wear fall off at the slightest touch
    when you replace them, they stay in place... but only for a month

    yesterday my headphones stopped charging. completely. After 4 months of basic wear
    I don't even run outside, just the apartment gym that I take the elevator to.
    Even tried to update the firmware hoping that would work but no.

    I gave their customer service a call and will see about their warranty. It was a Sat so left a message

    The tips falling off I can understand, but it just stopped working after 4 months of minimal use... (yes I need to work out more) really not acceptable.

    Unsatisfactory customer service!

    I bought a pair of these at the Apple store in SF after they were highly recommended. They were bad right out of the box. The right side quit working if I turned my head to the left, made shorting and crackling sounds. If I held them with my hand in just the right position I could get sound out of both sides. I got about 75 feet away and they went out of range despite being able to see my iPhone. The good news is they fit really well and don't come out easily. As a matter of fact, one of the stabilizer pieces went right to the bottom of the pool and down the drain when I took them off and it flipped off the ear bud.

    Their customer service went through every iteration possible -- having me tap them on a hard surface, try all the buttons, etc. The last straw was trying to tell me I had a bad bluetooth connection with my phone. After finally convincing them that I knew how to pair the headset with the phone because afterall it was working but only on one side. So they said to send a copy of my receipt and they would review it for a warranty replacement. They also said that I would know what the status was in 24 to 48 hours. That was 10 days ago. I sent an email asking what the status was and got the message back they were waiting for a tracking number. That was 5 days ago. Since then nothing!

    So I'm still waiting and searching for another product I can take to the pool and gym because I don't think I'm ever going to see a replacement for these. The sound I did hear was great - in one ear.

    Not great... Uncomfortable and didn't work.

    The first set of these that I got only worked out of the right side. I returned them and got a second pair, but that one only worked out of the left. They are very uncomfortable and leave your ears sore if you use the stabilization clips, and if you don't use them, the sound quality is terrible because if they don't sit at the right angle, it's hard to hear. I bought 2 pairs because I love the idea of these headphones, and maybe I just got the 2 broken ones out of the factory. But regardless, I will not be purchasing a third pair.
