Just put it in the trash where it belongs

    • Written by from Encinitas

Keyboard is great but the folio is not only useless but hazardous for your iPad. Within one week the upper left tabs cracked - caused the iPad to fall out - hit the floor - cracked the screen.

Don't buy this. It will crack.

What a shame - 95% great design with a fatal flaw.

    Cheap plastic

My second case just broke on me.. Again. The little plastic pieces that hold the ipad up ALWAYS break off. It's the two piece one, always bends and breaks. Wouldn't recommend

    Poor Quality Case

    • Written by from Des Moines

Although the keyboard is handy, the plastic frame holding the iPad Air into the case is poor. We dropped the case just once and one of the plastic corners broke - the corner holds the iPad into the case. Tried to glue it but couldn't.

You would be much better off purchasing the Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic clip-on keyboard cover. This works like a dream and serves as a hard cover for your iPad when not in use. The battery has a long life and seldom needs to be recharged.

I was initially pleased with this product. I took it to a conference and after some getting used to with the keyboard, I was happy that it worked well. However there appear to be two things that are a running theme with the other reviewers: 1) The side frame that holds the pad is an absolutely flimsy plastic that cracks easily. This sides have been disintegrating over very short period of time. Yesterday the last major piece broke and now the pad just slides out. 2) The battery life is terrible. This is all a shame because I've had people come up to me and ask me about this product because it looked good but I have had to tell them to find something else.

The little bracket that holds the iPad in place always breaks. This product is destined to fail. DON'T BUY THIS.

Not even close to worth the money

    • Written by from Suwanee

My wife and I bought two of these for our new iPad airs. Both of the first two broke within 6 weeks (cheap plastic brackets). Logitech was awesome and non-confrontational on the warranty claims and sent us new ones. One is already broken - cheap plastic bracket, again. Mine has a magnet used to secure the face of the iPad to the keyboard in the closed position, that pulled through and it no longer locks in place... So today - 4/4 of the models we have had are broken. Nice thought on its design, poorly executed.

    Very Poor Design

    • Written by from Coquitlam

I have gone through 2 of these cases in 7 months. While the keyboard works great, the plastic tabs that hold the ipad in the case do not stand up to regular use. On two different cases I have had the plastic tabs break off. Once the tabs break the case is useless as it will not hold the ipad in place. Very poor quality. C'mon Apple, please don't sell these poor quality/designed cases in your retail stores. When I buy something in an Apple store I assume that it is a quality and well designed product just like Apple makes. Buy this case if you want to spend $100 every 6 months to replace your case.

Utterly horrible, do not buy this product under any circumstances

    • Written by from London

I'd be interested to hear a Logitech response to my sentiments, but let me just say this, do not go near this product, it is garbage. The issue is basically that the iPad is held in place only by two thin grips of (cheap) plastic on each top corner. That is not enough, and within a few days of normal use the plastic on one or both corners will split and, inevitably, shortly thereafter, break, thus rendering the whole shooting match utterly worthless and incapable of holding the device in place. It is flimsy and, ultimately, a giant waste of money. I would recommend the Belkin Ultimate Keyboard Case, which completely encloses the iPad so that it cannot slip and in so doing exert pressure on wafer-thin plastic. Logitech must know about this issue, so a huge black mark to them. Avoid at all costs.

    Broke within 2 weeks

    • Written by from DPO

The concept is good but the product does not hold up to basic use. The area where the iPad snaps in cracked within 2 weeks on both sides and others who purchased this from my office complain of the same problem. It needs some design work.

    Bad materials Bad Keys

    • Written by from Pleasanton

Quality control appears to be non existent at Logitech. Several keys did not work right out of the box. It won't stay awake longer than a few seconds at a time. Yes I charged it overnight. After using it as a cover only for 2 months the latch that holds the iPad in the cover failed where the sleep button is. There just isn't enough cheap plastic in that area to hold up even with the most gentle use.

Stopped working after one day & heavy

    • Written by from Coldwater

I bought it, installed it and it worked great for one day. After that it would not connect to Bluetooth again. Everything else on my iPad Air would work using Bluetooth but not the keyboard. I made sure everything was fully charged, switches and setting were in the right position, WiFi was working A-OK and still it never worked again after that first day. I tried Logitech and all they asked was for information and they'd send me a new one. I'm going to try to return to where I purchased it as its still under the 30 days. It worked great when it worked. It's much heavier than I expected also.

    Well-conceived, but poorly made

    • Written by from San Francisco

This could have been a great product, if it weren't for a couple of major shortcomings. First of all, the plastic frame that holds the iPad is too fragile and cracks easily. Secondly, if yore used to a regular computer/laptop keyboard, this one will drive you crazy. After a few days of typing "S" instead of "A" in every word (because they put "A" on the same key as "Tab"), I simply gave up. Last but not least, I think it's heavily overpriced.

    Horrible and not worth it

    • Written by from TINTON FALLS

Never buy this as it is not worth 99$ to pay for such a device. My IPAD fell and cracked with this cover and the cover is little worn out with one fall. Moreover the Bluetooth sometimes works and sometimes not. The keys in there does not work most of times because they are not well integrated. Like the tab key wont work, if you have key in numerical 3 then god only knows. Most of the time I had to turn it off to bring up the IPAD keyboard..
    In short not worth it,
