    Great Product

    • Written by from Dieppe

I really enjoy my Zepp Sensor. It has given me great insight into my golf swing and has helped me improved my golf game.

I've also received excellent support from Zepp Labs.

    Highly recommended product.

    An excellent product

    • Written by from Sammamish

I really can't say enough good things about this product. I have had it since last Xmas and have used it a number of times. I read some of the reviews and somewhat understand the criticisms of the user instructions. I should have reviewed them before I started this because if they are the same as when I first looked in December I can understand the frustration and that is my only reason for a 4 star rating. That said, if you will take the time to get familiar with the product I think you will be very impressed with the features. I find the quality to be excellent both in terms of the presentation, the video instruction, the tips and probably most important the swing elements like club plane and club speed and tempo and others combined with the avatar that shows you exactly what is happening with your swing gives you insight you have never had before. Further, during the 6-7 months that I have been using it there have been a number of upgrades. I think the product developers are very open to suggestions and I am looking forward to other enhancements as time goes by. If you are having difficulty with the start up I encourage you to try and battle your way through. You won't be sorry.

Great Concept for Golfers ..... BUT

    • Written by from Pickering

This is the same device that batters and tennis players use; only the attachment mechanism is different.

But ... and this is a huge downside to golfers ... in order to use this on the course you *must* have your phone or tablet with you, because each club you pick from the bag for a given shot has to be selected on the phone/tablet in order for swing paths to be properly recorded against the respective club.

This introduces considerable tinkering with the app while playing, an action that other players may not appreciate. Additionally, pressing the 'button' on the sensor itself is a trial an error activity which takes quite a lot of pressure --- a simpler top-mounted switch like that on Zepp's older Golfsense unit would be more practical.

If Zepp could make the button easier to locate and depress, and somehow get the unit to not require the using the phone/tablet to selecting the club, perhaps by using NFC tags in a manner similar to that in the Game Golf device, they would have a hands-down winner.

Great product but lacking one thing.

    • Written by from Mechanicsville

Yes the box and the packaging is very nice, but honestly who cares about that. Or how is that going to help improve your golf game.

As far as a manual. It's very easy and simple to use. No real need for a manual in my opinion its kind of common sense.

What I like is that the sense is very small and unnoticeable on your glove, so it doesn't distract you at all. I love the beep that it makes to tell you that your swing is recorded.

What I don't like is that the bluetooth sometimes goes in and out some times. Not really a big deal until you hit what you think is a perfect shot and you have no data on it. I would of also preferred a simple on and off switch rather than the push button. But then again that doesn't really matter when trying to improve your golf swing.

Now to what it's lacking. And the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Is all that data that it shows is very good and important to hitting great golf shots, however; it's missing the most important thing to hitting target. And that is if your club face at impact. The sensor needs to some how tell you if your club face is open, square, or closed at impact. As that is the most important thing to hitting target with the golfball, and shaping the golfball. If they add that then this is in my opinion one of the best swing improvers out there.

One thing that i would love for it to be able to do is maybe use all the data and come up with a range that your ball should travel assuming that your hitting the ball in the sweet spot every time.

But this is by far one of the best, simplest, and most convent golf training aids out there. It has helped me make the most out of my practice time. I never go to the range with out it. It has helped me single out certain areas in my golf swing, and keep working at it until it improves. I would highly recommend this aid to anyone. Great golf investment.

    Cool Swing Analyzer and Trainer

    • Written by from ARLINGTON

Just purchased the Zepp Golf Sensor. Went to the Driving Range. I was so impressed in the amount of data this Swing Analyzer/Trainer Captures. Tried some of the other competitors and the design of the Zepp Sensor is spot on. The App is simple and configuration of a specific club and desired or goal results are so cool.

Great tool, if you aren't ridiculously inept at reading directions

    • Written by from Victoria

Great tool, it seems the people who don't like it have trouble turning it on and off, or don't have the common sense to figure it out. It took 5 minutes from opening the box to connecting to my phone and being able to walk out my front door and take practice swings in my yard. The on off button is pushed in from the corner not on top of the button. Hold it for 5 seconds and the LEDs will run to the top of the sensor. Wanna turn it off do the same and they will run to the bottom next to your finger and one will blink for two seconds. That's all you need to know except how to swing a club. As the others did say if you haven't purchased clubs recently as in the past three years your clubs won't be on the list. But is that even possible to keep the data of over a hundred different companies and all the different clubs they have. Good gracious people think logically! I'm sure if the sensor is a hit they will have updates with more clubs. My only thing I don't like is chips or half shots are counted as full shots and bring your score down. Great product, easy to use.

    Not user friendly

    • Written by from Windermere

This doesn't come with instructions and has an extremely limited set of clubs choose from. If they are going to not put in the time to make for a great user experience, then they should at least let users upload templates for other golfers. No excuse for misses like theses when it requires little capital, only an interest in providing a great experience.

    Very poor documentation

    • Written by from Oconomowoc

I can't honestly report on the functionality of the unit at this time because I haven't spent a great deal of time using it. The issue I have is with the supporting documentation on Zepp's web support page. The user manual is incomplete and lacking in detail about how to use the various functions of the unit. You are required to individually download at least 20 or so user instructions for the respective functions. Oddly some of these instructions were missing the images. It is obvious to me that there wasn't a lot if effort/thought put into providing user friendly instructions. I expected much more from an Apple affiliated company.

Great product! If you thinks it's junk, you're WRONG!

    • Written by from Chino Hills

Anyone who gave this product a one star must really be an idiot and have no idea about golf! I was skeptical of this product and decided to try it out. After hitting 100's of balls and using it to compare my shots, I have a new idea of how to improve. This product is no joke....... Best part is you don't have to attach anything to your club or keep switching it from club to club like others. If you tried this and didn't like it, I would be shocked! It's that good............ Remember, you can always return it but this is one tool I'll be keeping. I plan to put it on my family next to improve their swings also, great tool!

    Very disappointing !

    • Written by from miami

Beautiful and stylish packing. First surprise, there is no user manual. You need to download a PDF version, which I found very poor, with almost no explanation and low quality pictures. Finally, a set up the application on my iPhone, set up my clubs (very limited club data base), and after several intents I was able to turn on the gadget and sync with my iPhone. For some reason, it didn't turn on at the beginning and I had to try a dozen times before it finally did and started working. Next day, I run to the driving range with the Zepp fully charged, but I couldn't turn it on, It was dead. Very, very disappointing! I'll go back to Apple store tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I'll change it and give it a second chance or simply get my money back.

    great stuff

    • Written by from Naples

The extremely light sensor is very stable and clicks easy on the glove, handling with sensor and Software are simple as well!
The transmission of data via Bluetooth to the corresponding device is very fast and very stable. Each swing can be analyzed immediately, error in momentum are detected soon. Make training more fun and effective, whether slow or fast movements, with or without the ball! The small but very potent tool makes huge joy. The corresponding software is not only beautifully done, it also retains the right metrics!

    Positively Impressed

    • Written by from Singapore

My Local pro coach pointed me to this swing aid.

The box itself is nice and sleek and it gives right away the feeling of a professional product.

In the box there is no instruction manual, everything is online and that's something that i appreciate since i find manuals to be a waste of natural resources and of space in my drawers.

The setup and calibration is quick and easy and with a vast selection of golf clubs.
The bluetooth connection was quick and worked right away.

The Software is actually the core of the package, the interface it's easy to understand, fast and with all the desired features.
The path of the club is impressively precise, one of my many swing problems is that i swing outside/in and the reconstruction showed it perfectly, i then tried to correct it and the next swing represented it with good fidelity, overlying one with the other was of great help.

I would love to be able to pair both the sensor and the iphone (required for hip rotation measurement) to be connected to an iPad, that would be the ultimate setup.

All in all is a great product that I'm extremely happy to have purchased.
