    Will make anyone's thumb Green.

    • Written by from Utica

Year after year I have struggled keeping our family's landscape looking good and failed until this season. The difference was the Flower Power. This little device made growing plants a breeze for even me by letting me know the perfect time to water and fertilise my plants. You never realise how much water plants really need and with this product you don't need to since it will let you know. My only problem was convincing my dog that it was not a stick to play fetch with.

The Parrot Flower Power is awesome! I love it! I have never had a "green thumb" and never did well with plants but since I have been using the flower power for my peace lily plant, my plant has been thriving. It sends me reminders and alerts that lets me know if my plants needs... Water, sunlight, fertilization, and or provides temperature reading so you know if your plants is being expose to harsh temperature. It also give me a timeline reading of my plants progress including a live view of instant information on my plant's health. I love the fact that I can have multiple flower power for different plants and use one app to manage all. My plant is in good health and I couldn't be happier with the Parrot Flower Power!!

    Quality Product

This product has done everything it said it would do. From monitoring the moisture of the soil to fertilizer content, the product worked great. The only reason i'd give it four stars is because when connected over bluetooth, you don't get a whole lot of range. I couldn't put the product in my garden and monitor it from my house which is only 50 to 75ft away.

    Makes it easier

The Parrot Flower Power Plant Sensor is awesome!! I do not have a green thumb at all and in the past it has been frustrating for me to even try to have plants. I either water them too much, don’t water enough, give too much sunlight or not enough sunlight. The Parrot Flower Power Plant Sensor takes care of all of those concerns and does the work for you. All you need to do is stick the Parrot Flower Power Plant Sensor in the soil, link it up to your smartphone with Bluetooth and then add what type of plants or flowers you have and you are done. I have used this for the last month and it has exceeded my expectations. I have not had any plant or flower issues yet and I hope it stays that way with the help of the Parrot Flower Power Plant Sensor.

Flower Power; data from your plant

    • Written by from Winnipeg

For those with money, this product is wonderful. It took seconds to install, came with everything one needed to get started and began working with no delays. The database and trackers (both online and locally as an iPhone app) to which the device sent its data, were clever, accurate and provided a wealth of useful information for managing a single plant's care. Useful for plants that might be tricky to manage well. We used it on a plant that we were having trouble keeping alive. With the information provided, we nursed the plant back to health and it is now thriving. Parrot took their entry into the 'Internet of Things' very seriously: Flower Power provided data on plant placement, watering, fertilizing and temperature and allowed for easy maintenance, especially for people who don't have a green thumb!

    Great tool!

We have two sensors and have been using them both indoors and out. They have been very helpful in determining optimal plant location. Even more important for us is the sensor's ability to tell us if we've over or under fertilized a plant. We have a lily that has struggled for three years. Since being monitored by a flower power sensor it now has two stalks and numerous flower buds.

    Power to your Flowers

    • Written by from AUBURN

Hats off to the people at Parrot for their great job on the Parrot Flower Power. It's one thing to grow a plant in the ground, and another if you're doing it in a Pot. And I will say this unit will do honor to both instances very well. I gave it a few weeks before making a comment on Parrot Flower Power. It is very accurate in its observation of your prized plants.
One might note that when fertilizing your potted plants. Use a granular surface fertilizer for greater results. Liquid fertilizer tends to wash away to quickly. But that is up to how often you water.
A+ to those who worked hard to bring us a great product. And to Apple for its outstanding service getting it to me;-}.

    Many thanks.

    Interesting product

Had for a month now, like the concept. Would be better if it was wifi and it would be nice if it came with multiple sensors as I have many gardens. Overall it's an overpriced toy but I still like it.

Not yet ready for prime time

    • Written by from Columbia

Ended up returning the item for a number of reasons. When setting up and installing the interface software using Google Chrome for the browser, I received a "Warning may contain malware" message. After a week in the ground fertilization data wasn't being displayed, but it did well measuring soil temperature and moisture as well as light levels. When needed Parrot Technical Support was hard to reach by phone and email. When I finally reached someone they indicated it was a new product for them, that they were still being trained on it and were not able to be much help. While the concept is interesting, the product nicely designed and packaged, it's currently overpriced for what it does and just not an item which is ready to go public.
