    Good looking and well built.

    • Written by from Miscouche

I'm really happy with this buy, it looks good and is not bulky at all. It's not an armour, but I do feel comfortable traveling my MBP in just this sleeve.

The fit is good, I'd say maybe an inch longer and larger then my MBP retina 13inch (2014), so for me it's ''perfect", it's not hard to get it in (not to tight) and it's not to loose at all in my opinion, I'd say it's the perfect size.

The front pocket is also nice, I can put my VGA adapter in it and little things, like a pen, that I might need (but you can't put something too thick).

Excellent Protection for 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro

    • Written by from Brooklyn

I carry my MacBook Pro with me often, so there is always a risk that the laptop will receive minor damage. To mitigate this risk, I purchased the Thule Stravan Sleeve because it had positive reviews, and it looked capable of providing the protection I wanted for my laptop. Although the sleeve’s price is astronomical ($50 plus sales tax), I am very impressed with its construction. First, the zippers are flawless: they glide smoothly when I open and close them. Second, the sleeve is light and not bulky, so it is not a burden to carry my laptop inside the sleeve in my backpack. Third, the sleeve’s design is beautifully simple and complements the aesthetics of the MacBook Pro. The metallic grey fabric and blue zippers are a nice contrast to the MacBook Pro’s aluminum body. Last and most importantly, the sleeve’s thick padding and plush interior provide excellent protection against accidental contact with liquids, bumps, minor physical shock, and scratches. On the downside, the front pocket is too small for me to put the MacBook charger in it, but it does fit a pen and a very thin notebook for moments when I have to scribble something down. Overall, the sleeve’s $50 price tag is justified by its construction and performance, and it does everything that I expect a laptop sleeve to do.

The Perfect Bag for 13 Mac Pro

    • Written by from Newtown

Have had a number of bags for Notebooks and Tablets, usually it’s a compromise, not with the Thule, the MBP fits perfectly, even with a Shell on, in the plush lined compartment, and there is room for a tablet, an external drive and for my phone, everything together.
This is the perfect bag, well designed and well built, I would recommend this bag to anyone that wants a good looking well thought out bag for there MBP.

WORTH IT IN THE END - MACBOOK AIR 13"

    • Written by from Costa Mesa

Checked out about 5 different sleeves ranging from $10-$30. Returned all of them, and one just kinda fell apart. This thing actually feels really really nice and not cheap at all. 13" Macbook Air fits in it like a glove. Couldn't be happier about that. Other generic sleeves I tried had anywhere from a half inch to an inch of slide around room. This thing is made for it. Highly recommend. Just fork out the cash and be done with it from the get go.

    Perfect

    • Written by from Cobourg

Though some people thought that it was too loose on the 13r macbook pro, it's not really that much of a deal. The inside of the sleeve and the front pocket are super soft and the sleeve offers great protection. The front pocket looked a little small online but I can easily fit my lacie porche design 2tb hard drive, Apple Magic Mouse, and macbook charger. So far I love this sleeve and it you have a macbook needing protection I would definitely recommend this sleeve.

    Absolutely Perfect

    • Written by from Toledo

I have a 13" MacBook Air and wanted a case with a tight fit. I was concerned that this case would be too lose, but it fits perfectly! It's got plenty of padding on the inside, but doesn't seem bulky and cumbersome like some other sleeves I tried. I really love the iPad sleeve as well. Overall, completely worth the money!

Great Sleeve for 13" MBPro Retina and iPad Air

    • Written by from ALPINE

I just picked this up at my local Apple Store for my MBPro 13" Retina. Very nicely made case. The clincher for me was the lined exterior pocket for my iPad Air. Looks great, works great. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great, high quality case for MacBook Air 13"

    • Written by from Geneva

I looked a lot of cases to store my 13" MacBook Air in, and I can't recommend the Thule Stravan Sleeve enough! It holds the MacBook perfectly, and has a separate pouch that my iPad Mini fits nicely it. If you don't want to store an iPad in the additional pouch, you can store the power brick from the MacBook Air just fine in the additional pouch, but it is a tight. The case itself is built with high quality, and you get the impression that it will last a long time.

    Lightweight and Durable

    • Written by from Tampa

Just got the sleeve a couple of days ago but I switched it from the gauntlet sleeve which I considered to be too heavy. The stravan is lightweight and doesn't make get too heavy when you store your macbook pro or air inside. I've been carrying my iPad 2 in it as well and I can barely feel the extra volume. It has a great build quaity and feel extremely durable. It's been on two 8 long hour trips so far (with layovers) and has passed the test with honors. The plush interior makes sure your macbook and ipad are scratch free. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and am confident that I have made a good choice when switching from the gauntlet.

a little on the big side

    • Written by from Toronto

I bought this sleeve for a 13" retina MBP, and despite the sleeve being VERY nice, I was disappointed with the fit. There was a fair amount of extra room on the sides and top. I decided to buy the attache version and compare them side-by-side, and I found the fit was actually much better. The attache is thicker, but the length and width are actually smaller, and it fits easier in my bag. I am going with the Stravan Attache.

    Fits my 13" MacBook

I wanted something that would hold my white MacBook and this is it. It fits fine and it also can hold my iPad 2 with a Logitech keyboard attached. It looks good and is very functional. Highly recommended.

Simple, effective, a good choice for a 13" Air or MBP Retina

    • Written by from OAKLAND

Purchased this to carry my 13" air around in my larger bags as a temporary solution until I get a better all around bag. I'm pretty impressed with it. The zipper has a large loop to grab, and the pull/tension is spot on. I tried about 6 or 7 sleeves in the store, and this one had the best all around functionality. The iPad slot is a nice to have as well, which at first I thought I wouldn't need, but turns out, I'll use it a lot! It's $50, which is a lot of money for these things, but in the end, given how expensive the laptop is, it's well worth the added protection. There really isn't much bulk to this either, and I like that, knowing if my main bag fell off a bed or counter, that the laptop would be protected.

Lightweight, well built, perfect fit (even with Speck shell)

    • Written by from Austin

I spend a lot of time looking for the perfect case for my 13-inch Retina Pro. This is a well made, lightweight sleeve that offers excellent protection. It fits the Pro even with a Speck hardshell case. The side pocket fits an iPad 4 without a case (a silicone case for the iPad made it too tight a fit). Nice if you already have a carryon or backpack for the MacBook.
