    Fried my magic mouse

    • Written by from Danbury

Beware of this product. just got it this week. Put the magic mouse on it over night. Next morning, Mini Mac w Mountain Lion wouldn't recognize it. Had been using it for months with batteries. Now its a light weight paper weight...
Reinstalled regular batteries, same thing. When activating the mouse, the active light on it turns green and stays green.

    Very bad product

    • Written by from chickasha

This product will always lose connectivity with your mac and the only way to resolve it is to go to bluetooth setting and delete it then do a search for it again all while turning mouse off and on until if finds it. This will happen about 6 TIMES in a workday. I have 15 workstations that all do it. So prepare to loose money while investing in this horrible product. Also the bottom cover pops off at least once a day that is really hard to make stay.

    Chronically Disconnected

    • Written by from Chesapeake

Is it me or is it my imagination? I've had issues with Magic Mouse disconnecting and now with Magic Charger installed it's worse. I love the concept and when it works it's wonderful but constantly having to reconnect is frustrating. I suspect the problem lies within the bluetooth communication system. It is flawed and this makes it nearly unworkable.

    Save your Money

    • Written by from Orlando

I hate to say that unfortunately this product is a waste of money, the batteries do not charge and if they charge they lose charge after about 1 hour.
Go with apples rechargeables with the wall wart adapter.

    WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK

    • Written by from Richmond

This worked very well for a few months. Then, it would charge, but never say it was charged (admittedly, this might have been a computer issue). Then, it stopped working completely, after the extremely delicate plastic broke. So, I would say that this product is worthless. Worse than worthless, actually, because now I have a Magic Mouse without the bottom plate.

    Did not fit

    • Written by from Columbia

I was finally ready to take the plunge on this charger and was pretty excited when it arrived. However, the battery pack back would not stay secured to my Magic Mouse. I tried and tried and it would just pop off. So, I packaged it up and sent it back. Not sure if there is something different about my Magic Mouse or what. My MM is a few years old so maybe that is the issue and this product works wiith the newer one. Not sure. Anyway, back to the old rechargeable batteries for me. Too bad.

    Battery pack does not fit!

    • Written by from Westcliff on Sea

Having waited a week for delivery, I set up the new charger unit yesterday and replaced the batteries with the rechargebale pack.

Getting it into the base of the mouse, I realised the fit was poor. It is!

The mouse is unusable, as the battery pack is protruding from the base and also does not correctly fit around the on/off switch.

It's going back to Apple. I am amazed this product has been allowed onto the market, if the machining tolerances can't be controlled.

DO NOT BUY ... good concept; POOR design

    • Written by from Orlando

Bought it with trepidation after reading the review; should have trusted y'all. Charged for 2 days. Then had a hard time getting it to "fit" into my mouse; the bottom clasp space wouldn't work so I used a screwdriver to pull the clasp back to it fit snug like the Apple cover does. Alas like others something inside isn't connecting like others' experience. Just buy a supply of rechargeable batteries til they figure this thing out or Apple makes a rechargeable Magic Mouse.

    Missing piece to work

    • Written by from Hollis

When I got the Mobee Magic I put it on charge for a day or two. By time i actually got the product to fit in the magic mouse, the product doesn't even work. Its missing one of the metal battery connector piece. So from day one the product is useless, don't wash your time buying.

    Do not buy!

    • Written by from Taylorsville

The battery pack that you insert into your magic mouse, will not stay in place due to the fact that the portion of the battery pack that would click under the black button on the underside of the mouse has not been engineered correctly to fully click in. So consequently the mouse will connect and disconnect from your Mac randomly. Save your money and just use rechargeable batteries if you would like.

    Pure Junk

    • Written by from San Luis Obispo

First thing I did was plug the USB End into a iPod charger. It took 30+ hours to charge. Once charged it works till the battery starts to drain down. Once that happens it will disconnect at times.

After about a month I found out the charge will not last very long at all. Must charge it every day or two. Lots of hassle. Forget to charge it then have fun replacing it with batteries as the cover is flimsy.

Worse 40.00 I've ever spent. In the trash it went.

    Christmas present: shiny paperweight

    • Written by from 横浜市西区

Well, as far as looks and product idea goes...great job, Mobee.

As far as actual working product that "just works"...needs improvement. I got this for Xmas and was happy but not so when I actually tried to use it. The battery unit charges apparently, but putting it into the Apple Magic Mouse results in failure. The mouse is not powered and I am planning on returning this item.

Also, the catch on the battery cover release is not a good fit and the cheap, thin plastic of the "cover" part of the battery pack gets damaged if you take out and put in the battery pack more than 3 times, even as carefully as I was handling it.

I do not recommend this product.

batteries more effective than this trash

    • Written by from Kemah

battery pack wont charge and because I can't prove the date of purchase vendor will not warranty it. It's only three months old! A overnight charge should be able to get you more than three percent! I have a keyboard that does the same I'm lucky to have that cell work for a afternoon after sitting on the charger for a week. If you have these then keep a wired keyboard and mouse you'll need them more then these

    Does not charge reliably

    • Written by from Durham

I've been using one of these for 8 months now. Although there are benefits to never having to worry about replacing batteries, those benefits are easily outweighed by how this device will not charge reliably.

I would expect to be able to set the mouse on the charging pad and have the light turn from red to blinking green (indicating that it is charging,) but that rarely happens so easily. Instead, I have to keep taking the mouse off the charger and "dropping" it from about an 1/8th of an inch above the charger until it lands in a fashion that causes whatever is not connecting to connect. This is a raindance I do every night before bed if I hope to have a usable mouse the next day.

On top of that, the blinking green light is supposed to turn solid green when the mouse has finished charging. This never happens. Not once in the time I have owned this have I ever seen a solid green light. I could leave it for days, and the light will never turn solid green. The most common light? Solid red. That just means nothing's charging. Second most common light? Blinking red. That means, "something is wrong, but don't worry about trying to figure it out; it's really just a symptom of a sub-par product. Try again later."

If and when I can get the charge to "stick" and the blinking green light to commence, I have to watch it to make sure it stays green and blinking. I failed to do this last night, and this morning I awoke to a solid red light again, as if the mouse was not sitting on the charger all night, which it was. It also has no charge.

Stay away from Mobee products. They do not "just work" like you would expect something found at the Apple Store to do.

    Broke quickly and doesn't work.

    • Written by from Indiana

This looked like a great item to keep from using batteries in the Magic Mouse. But one end of the plate containing the rechargeable battery is so fragile that in trying to put it in place it bent and broke within a few minutes even with gentle handling. When I finally got the batteries in and could hold it in place with my finger, it wouldn't work. I don't think it's even worth returning at this point. Part of the problem is the instructions are so minimal it's hard to tell how to put the rechargable batteries in, set it up and charge it.
