I have a composite cable red whit and yellow but my HDTV does not have a yellow connection it is blue

I am just trying to hook up an iPad connector to my tv

  • You are looking at component connectors not composite. They are for video only and separate the video into three channels. You would use those three in combination with the red and yellow audio cables.

  • Your HDTV has component video cables. Red green blue. That is pre hdmi for HDTV. It is video only. Red white yellow is for composite video and analog stereo. Red white are 2 channel stereo sound. Yellow is video. That was basic hookup for older standard def tvs.
