Can you read the time, so I don't need a watch?

I love the size of this device. Can you read the time. I read somewhere you could but it was very small. This may be a stupid question, but it is also a factor in my choice.

    No, the only display is a series of five dots that light up to indicate number of steps and status (awake/asleep). The Fitbit Force displays the time.

  • The Fitbit Flex does not display the time. You would have to purchase the Fitbit Force if you want a built-in watch.

  • The Flex does not display time but the previous model (Fitbit One) does display time. It does not have wrist band, but uses a clip to attach to clothing.

  • Not on this model. The Fitbit Force (the next model up from this one) has a timeface.
