Inspired by LeBron James, the Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats2 Wireless headphones are exceptionally light and deliver the power of dual-driver acoustics to propel you through rigorous workouts.

    Designed to endure

The IPX-4 sweat- and water-resistance rating means Powerbeats2 Wireless are tough from ear bud to the tangle-free cable wrap around. There's also over-molding on the RemoteTalk for a no-slip grip when you’re changing volume, switching tracks, and making hands-free calls.

From the street to the court, Powerbeats2 Wireless gives you the freedom to take your workout anywhere. Wireless Bluetooth lets you connect up to 30 feet from your Bluetooth-enabled iPhone, iPad, or iPod—so you can move freely and stay focused on your workout. A rechargeable battery with 6-hour playback gives you the power to endure to the end. If you’re on empty, a 15-minute quick charge delivers an extra hour of non-stop playback.

Overall near perfect while listening to music however there is an issue with the audio lip sync when watching videos on any of my Apple products (i.e. iPhone, iPad, MacBook etc..) This appears to be an Apple specific Bluetooth issue with no current fix.

The audio on these powerbeats is great. They are comfortable to wear as well.

Where the powerbeats2 fail is in audio playback when watching video. I've experienced this on my iPhone 5s, iPad 4 and Mac. One solution provided was to reset the headphones - that doesn't address the problem.

The firmware is supposedly upgradeable. Its been months since released and the version remains at 1.0.

I would not recommend these headphone is your primary use is for watching Videos, the audio lag will drive you nuts. Now that Beats is owned by Apple, I am hoping that this gets resolved. Its surprising that they haven't dealt with this as of yet.

Check other references to this problem on the web. It seems uniformly held as an issue.

  • Sound cuts in and out!!!

I use these when I travel or take walks the majority of the time. I always carry my phone (I-phone 5) in a standard clip on carrying case that sits on my right hip because I am a creature of habit as most of us are. The music continuously cuts in and out when I have it on my hip but if I transfer the phone to my hand or place it on my left hip, there is no problem. I can also walk around the house with my phone on the counter and the system works very well. the bluetooth signal comes from the left ear. Thoughts; when I have it on my right hip, the bluetooth signal is on my left ear and the signal gets lost and can not cut through my body or around it. If I place my phone on a counter and move 6 feet away and turn a circle, It has no problem. I only hope the quality of the bluetooth signal improves and some day I can try it again. Until then, I will have to find a pair with the wrap around the ear but the bluetooth signal on the right ear. The good: sound quality is awesome, comfort is awesome and the wrap around ear feature is great. Nothing bad to say other than the cutting in and out.

Many people were stating that there was an issue where it wasn't matched up but after I updated the firmware on the device. there was no issue to be found. They sound wonderful! Sound quality is great, fit perfectly and they have tech support if you have any issues. Please take note of this review and don't let the other review deter you from purchasing these. They either wrote the review before the update was released or they never did the firmware update.
