    Performance and power

Inspired by LeBron James, the Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats2 Wireless headphones are exceptionally light and deliver the power of dual-driver acoustics to propel you through rigorous workouts.

    Designed to endure

The IPX-4 sweat- and water-resistance rating means Powerbeats2 Wireless are tough from ear bud to the tangle-free cable wrap around. There's also over-molding on the RemoteTalk for a no-slip grip when you’re changing volume, switching tracks, and making hands-free calls.

    More freedom

From the street to the court, Powerbeats2 Wireless gives you the freedom to take your workout anywhere. Wireless Bluetooth lets you connect up to 30 feet from your Bluetooth-enabled iPhone, iPad, or iPod—so you can move freely and stay focused on your workout. A rechargeable battery with 6-hour playback gives you the power to endure to the end. If you’re on empty, a 15-minute quick charge delivers an extra hour of non-stop playback.

    Made to perform

Overall near perfect while listening to music however there is an issue with the audio lip sync when watching videos on any of my Apple products (i.e. iPhone, iPad, MacBook etc..) This appears to be an Apple specific Bluetooth issue with no current fix.

The audio on these powerbeats is great. They are comfortable to wear as well.

Where the powerbeats2 fail is in audio playback when watching video. I've experienced this on my iPhone 5s, iPad 4 and Mac. One solution provided was to reset the headphones - that doesn't address the problem.

The firmware is supposedly upgradeable. Its been months since released and the version remains at 1.0.

I would not recommend these headphone is your primary use is for watching Videos, the audio lag will drive you nuts. Now that Beats is owned by Apple, I am hoping that this gets resolved. Its surprising that they haven't dealt with this as of yet.

Check other references to this problem on the web. It seems uniformly held as an issue.

All I bought mine 3 weeks ago and absolutely loved them when working out thanks to the quality of sound, convenience, and comfort. All of a sudden they cut out and then wouldn't charge or turn on anymore, as many of you have described. I reset but nothing happened, I tried to update them using the beats updater but since they won't turn on the computer can't locate my beats eventhough I have them connected to the USB port with the USB cable it came with. I have only used the USB cable that came with the purchase to charge them and nothing else. I guess I'll have to return them.. Based on the large quantity of similar negative reviews I don't think I will be exchanging them for another pair or going through the hassle of sending them in for repair either- for that quantity of money for a pair of earbuds I would much rather prefer to purchase a pair of the jaybird bluebuds x sport. I have already checked the reviews on that product and it looks like they are #1 in the market and more reliable than the beats. It's sad because I have other beats products and absolutely love all of them, so when I bought these I was really excited and had high hopes for them but I guess they just can't deliver or even compare to the rest of the beats line unfortunately.

    sound is great
It connected to my iphone/apple watch with no issue
very comfortable to wear during a workout and stayed in place

    The Bad:
Dead after 6 months. Ran out of battery during a very sweaty run, got home and put it on the charger. It wouldn't power back on or charge. The red light flashed about seven times then was dead.

I am lucky enough to have a Apple Store that is close by. They sent the PowerBeats2 in for repair and within a few days I have a new pair. Hopefully these will last longer, I have my doubts.

Super psyched to use them. worked great for awhile until the little ear buds kept popping off. Then the USB charge cover started ripping where it is attached. also the power button has a crack where you push, all of those things I could take and just say whatever, but today.. the cover to the volume control unit popped off. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. I was looking at the inside of the volume control thingy. i couldnt pop the cover back on, so I had to tape it. These are pretty good headphones and I dont want to stop using as they were pretty $$$. However, cheaply made and they need another test run.
