Programmed to Fail

Third party adapter, but restrict third parties.
I've had an adapter for my iPad for a year, worked great on iOS 6 and 7. However, I bought a new iPhone and all my lightning cable I've had an adapter for my iPad for a year, worked great on iOS 6 and 7. However, I bought a new iPhone and all my lightning cables broke, 1 aftermarket, 3 Original. I lost my adapter and bought a new one because my cables stopped working. I started using it for two days and ever since I have this warning “This accessory may not be supported”. I have already gotten three such warnings (one of them when I typed ‘three’. It just doesn't work, this is a fail on Apple's behalf, give us an adapter for a third party cable and not allow use of it. Shame, shame,shame, Apple. …
