It did take me a minute to set it up, but after reading the manual it made sense: I just turned Bluetooth on on my ipad and then it's good to go. The dice is smooth and light -- you can roll it right on top of your ipad -- but feels solid in the hand.

The DICE+ comes with six compatible games - Backgammon, Chuchumba, Heroes, Rainbow Jack, Rumble Stumble, and This Way Up. I gave them all a spin and a few stood out more than others. Definitely looking forward to more, and so's my daughter.
She loved This Way Up, especially how the little animals make squeaking sounds and animate when you poke them.

I've already found myself playing quite a few rounds of Rumble Stumble with my husband and daughter - it's like playing Twister, but with your fingers. Another fun one!

Pros: great, clean graphics, battery life, portability
Cons: more games would be great, although Hello Kitty and Jungle Book should be available soon. Can't wait :)

As I've gotten little bored of playing angry birds, I welcome a return to the classics like Backgammon and Parcheesi (called Heroes in this version).
There are a lot of new and upcoming releases available for in-app purchase, as well. A couple are intended for the kids (with Hello Kitty coming soon!), and some are strategy games. I haven't gotten any additional games yet, but I'm hoping future releases also showcase the potential of the DICE+'s capabilities as a VG controller.

The die itself is big enough to not get lost (and comes with a protective pouch) but small enough to roll comfortably. It also flashes different colors, which is a cool touch.
Oh, another plus - the battery on this thing lasts forever.

I purchased the die after stumbling upon it on the Apple store and reading Rhonda’s product review. I haven‘t heard of this produc I purchased the die after stumbling upon it on the Apple store and reading Rhonda’s product review. I haven‘t heard of this product before and haven’t seen it in any TV ads but decided to give it a try.

Basically, connecting the die to the iPad took us about 20 seconds. The die feels really good in the hand, it’s made from a softer type of plastic. We played all the games that come with the Dice+ app, most of the games are free and our favorite one is This way up. The best thing about this gadget is that all games require at least 2 people so its much more fun than 1 person games. My rating is 4 out of 5 stars.
