The wireless iSmartAlarm Home Security System puts you in control—thanks to do-it-yourself in-home installation and self-monitoring and control from the iSmartAlarm app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Even better, there are no monthly fees or contracts.
iSmartAlarm app—your control center
The iSmartAlarm app lets you use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to arm, monitor, and disarm your security system at any time, from anywhere, in real-time. The app shows who's at home, when family members leave or return, and the on/off status of each sensor. It also alerts all designated members with a phone call,* SMS message,* push notifications, and email when the iSmartAlarm security system detects a break-in or unauthorized activity—while also allowing you to view your home’s status and safety.
The “brains” of the system, this plug-n-play central hub is almost infinitely expandable.
Wireless and moveable, these devices notify you instantly of open doors, windows, cabinets, etc.
Wireless and portable, so you can easily place it anywhere, this sensor provides immediate notification of intruders or movement in any area of your house.
Should your iOS device be out of reach, the remote tag lets you control the system or set off the panic alarm. You can also use it as an ID tag for children and pets.

I've been away on Christmas vacation for 1 day. The system said it was working. Then my internet went down at my house for an hour (thanks Comcast!). When it came back up, I was not able to connect to the smart alarm!
The tech support told me that if internet goes down, you must physically reboot the smart alarm system.
Read that last sentence again. What use is a security system if it is so easily defeated by an internet outage? Now I can understand if the system doesn't work while the internet is down, but why doesn't it automatically come back online like any other internet connected device?
What a total piece of garbage. Going back to the store as soon as I get back from my vacation. Now I just hope someone doesn't break into my totally unprotected house! …

Easy and Affordable

Here are my general thoughts listed below.
Super Simple to install (probably took me less than 30 minutes and no tools needed).
App is free and surprisingly easy to use and connects with the device well.
No Monthly bullcrap. Price is amazing.
Batteries last very long, easy to replace.
Key Fob is a great addition. I have a dog and it tells me when he's out or in.
Some outages with the system. Here or there an hour or so. But I've left note with the devs, still waiting to hear back.
no accessories. Assuming this has something to do with them being new on the market?
60 sec delay before alarm goes off. Biggest one for me because it's a UI thing, not a bug. Others I'm just waiting on these guys to fix over time.
Overall I'm satisfied because it's so little hassle and also quite fun to use. I can watch my living room at work if I needed to. Giving it a full five. …

I have no connectivity issues, i never have to reboot my cube if I lose internet connection, it reconnects itself. Besides, given most providers have 95% and higher uptime it's not an issue for me. It reconnects even if I reboot my own router. I get an alert telling me if cube disconnects, easy to check back with using the app, which is easy to use. Best part, no monthly fees ! Customer service is great ! Great forum ! 10/10 !!! I also hear they have more products in the pipeline to enhance ismartalarm ! …

Love it!! Total,reliability
Bought this and cancelled my $35 a month monitored system. Yay!! Instant updates when doors or windows open and close with the s Bought this and cancelled my $35 a month monitored system. Yay!! Instant updates when doors or windows open and close with the system disarmed, notifications when the key fobs come and go. Have nt had a single complaint about the system. When it goes off it lets everyone know and gives you the option to call 911 or another number. I now have all my windows and doors from my garage to the back porch monitored with either contact sensors or motion detectors (20 total) and haven't had a single complaint ~ except the alarm isn't really LOUD. I use Drop cams and if anything alerts, I can check before going into panic mode if I am not home...something that hasn't happened yet. But, being able to tell 911 you are looking at a burglary in you house on your cameras after the alarm goes off turns a routine low priority alarm call into a priority and keeps it from being a report writing exercise for the police. Having total autonomous control over my alarm system feels a lot better than relying on somebody else off in Kansas or India.
