As I was leaving the store after my return, I noticed this case. I didn't even know that Tech21 made a snap case for my Macbook Air. Since my entire family uses Tech21 cases for our iPhones and my brother's motorcycle gear uses D30 impact material, this purchase was a no-brainer. Yeah, $100 is a little steep for a snap case, but if you really think about, it's really not too much to protect your investment of $1,000+. Anyway, the case fits perfectly right out of the box, my computer does not over heat with the case on, it now has impact protection (unlike the Speck case), the matte black looks super cool, and yes, you can still see the Apple Logo through it. I definitely recommend this case to everyone. Go buy it now! …

WOW....this is a great cover
I have purchased numerous cases for my Mac Air and many of them never seem to hold up without cracking in the corners. I thought I have purchased numerous cases for my Mac Air and many of them never seem to hold up without cracking in the corners. I thought I would try this Tech21 case to see how well it would perform. I just got it and put it on my laptop and couldn't be happier! You can tell this is a substantially better made case than the Speck cases. The price is higher but it's cheaper than having to replace the case every 6 months. The case is still lightweight but fits so snugly around my laptop without any movement at all! This is THE best case to purchase to protect your laptop. Apple got it right with this one........ …

Good not great

cases it is so similar in apparent quality it is tough to say for sure it will be any better; for the money it had better.I would feel more comfortable if it had a limited lifetime warranty rather than the one year.
The top and bottom fit securely and the tabs holding them on seem considerably stronger than my past cases. The feet are also good scratch resistant rubber. The rubber liner is a neat addition but I think the claims of extra protection are dubious but who want to test it out on a thousand dollar computer?
All in all the case is good but without a lifetime warranty or a lower price it is not great. …

Just received the case in the mail, and while I'm happy with the fit, quality and aesthetics, I'm not happy with the weight. I did Just received the case in the mail, and while I'm happy with the fit, quality and aesthetics, I'm not happy with the weight. I didn't realize just how heavy this thing actually is. The case weights .827 pounds, which increases the overall weight of the computer (13" Air) by 28%--that's a lot, at least too much for me.
If weight is not a concern of yours, then this case seems like a winner. However, because you own an Air, I presume weight is a concern... …

Love the look, but not so great after all.

The case cracked and so did my new This case was great until my laptop fell, with the case on, a whopping 3 feet from the ground. The case cracked and so did my new retina display 13 inch MacBook Pro. Then after about two weeks the screen pixels started to die. Luckily my university provides an extended warranty for my computer and Tech21 has a 1 year warranty on the case, so it ended up costing me only $400 out of my warranty. I'll be sending this back to the company shortly to take advantage of the warranty, but beware if you're prone to dropping things or want something that actually might protect your device. …

Is flexible neopren/plasti I just got mine in the mail on Jan 2nd, and am impressed with it so far.
Is flexible neopren/plastic, and would not break/crack.
It's a softer plastic, would resist minor impacts and scratches.
I have no worry of it breaking.
So easily installed, just snaps into place. I'd say about 30 second
Hope this helps, I'd recommend it. …
