But exactly what I was looking for and then some. Plenty of room for Macbook Air, iPad, iPhone , necessary cables, legal pad, pens etc.. Well made all around. Stylish.
Allows me perfect mobility, carrying everything necessary to "set up shop" in an airport, cafe, conference room or wherever I might need to conduct business. In this day and age I rarely need more than what I haven this bag.

It's perfect for anyone who uses their macbook pro AND iPad. I actually bought the Incase 13" City Collection Briefcase for MacBook Pro first and then saw this bag online and went back to the Apple store the next day and exchanged it for this bag. The sleeves where your iPad and computer go are lined with with soft materials and I still have space in the middle for files and a legal pad. The overall bag is smaller than what it looked like online however the pockets are large enough to fit all of my chargers and iPhone. Love this thing!

My first impression is that its a bit small but then again it is an "attache" so what would you expect. It's a snug fit for my Mac My first impression is that its a bit small but then again it is an "attache" so what would you expect. It's a snug fit for my Mac Air and iPad. I found it hard to insert my Cocoon Grid (which I love btw) with all my accessories attached. If your planning on using it for a macbook pro and iPad don't count on having any extras in the main compartment. Or if your iPad and Mac Air have cases.

The inside compartments for electronics is nicely lined with a soft material. And there is a neopreme cap for your laptop so the zipper doesn't scratch it.

The rear zipper to access iPad is nice however if your loading up the bag its a bit of a pain to pull your the iPad out.

The front pockets are a bit more spacious then I expected but they don't pop out. And the iPhone pocket is also lined with a soft material.

As for the over all material, feel and fabrication of this bag so far it looks tough enough but I haven't had the chance to use it a lot yet. It's definitely not for a techie pack rat this is purely for the minimalist. Laptop, iPad, essential cables and maybe a couple smaller documents or folders.

So far I like the bag I don't LOVE it. Even and extra in the of space in the main compartment would be nice and thats why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I do like it and will continue to use it.

I purchased the Thule 13 Stravan Deluxe Attache for MacBook Pro/MacBook Air expecting only a minimalist carrying case for my MacBo I purchased the Thule 13 Stravan Deluxe Attache for MacBook Pro/MacBook Air expecting only a minimalist carrying case for my MacBook Pro 13" with Retina Display.

Here's a rundown of the contents of this "tiny" attaché:
    1) MacBook Pro 13" with Retina Display (in first pocket)
    2) Macbook A/C adapter
    3) iPad 3 with Targus Swivel Cover (in second pocket)
    4) WD 2TB External Hard Drive (pocket-size, of course)
    5) Apple SuperDrive
    6) empty space between the 2 pockets between Macbook and iPad

The most practical carrying case I've ever purchased that allows me to store and carry everything I need without wanting more or wasting any space. Perfect!

I just bought the MBP 13 inch with retina, and I have an iPad/iphone. I downsized on my 15 inch MBP.
So I returned the Michael Ko I just bought the MBP 13 inch with retina, and I have an iPad/iphone. I downsized on my 15 inch MBP.
So I returned the Michael Kors, because, it felt unorganized. I got the 15 inch for my 13 inch, because I do have
a speck cover on it. So technically I needed a 14 inch, and my iPad has a leather case around it. I wanted the extra
    room
with my covers to fit in this bag! It does, PERFECTLY! due to the soft inside, and my rubbery cover, there is no slipping around.
and I can fit my iPad just as well! This is a really nice bag, also fits my iPhone in front and my mouse and cables!
I can also fit a small notebook in front. It is also very sharp looking, very well made.....BUY IT! For Realzz.
If you have covered your 13 inch like me, for the same price...you might want to consider the 15 inch like what I did!

The material is very high quality, both on the inside and out. It is small, but not too small. Still has plenty of room for the things I need to carry around, and I am able to use it as a shoulder bag without looking like I'm carrying a purse :) I'm able to fit my 13" Macbook Pro (Retina), an iPad Air, a full-sized notebook, a magic mouse (which fits conveniently in the iPhone pocket), a MagSafe2 charger & extension, headphones, and several other small cables.
