It is a straight forward product designed for apple products.
When I turned the iHome on, I plugged my 5s in and the time on the iHome synced with my 5s which was great. I'm able to charge two devices (one via USB in the back )which is great.
Sound is good for the price and is reliable.
Looks great and blends with any style.
Overall great product. …

I am beyond happy with my purchase!! Even though I would have loved to have the option to charge a third device, I can overlook that. I love the many different options for the alarm, you can wake up with the buzzer, radio, dock or USB. Also, the alarm wakes you gently by steadily increasing the volume of the alarm. This was a feature that I loved on my old dock and haven't been able to find since then. I am extremely pleased with all of the features and would recommend this product to anyone! …

I had the old version for my old iPhone 4S and was looking forward to one for my iPhone6. Much to my disappointment, it won't work with the very slim protective case I have on my phone. In order to use it every night I would have to remove the protective case each night. Not going to happen. I will be returning this and continue my search. My old iHome unit worked just fine with the protective case on my phone, so this came as a complete surprise to me. …

Doesn't work with case... deal breaker.
I was disappointed when I discovered this device doesn't work with a case. Almost everyone I know has a speck or otter box protect I was disappointed when I discovered this device doesn't work with a case. Almost everyone I know has a speck or otter box protecting their iPhone. I'm not going to spend the time manipulating it in an out of the case every time I want to dock it. I was even more disappointed when I learned this may be Apple's fault for not coordinating the specifications for the case openings and the dock dimensions for their officially licenced lighting products. Brilliant, perhaps Apple could invest some of its billions of dollars to hire a humans factors engineer!
Ok, rant complete. the iDL95 felt like a quality component. It instantly recognized my 5c, set the time on the clock and I was directed me to install the free iHome app(s). I thought the sound quality was pretty darn good for an alarm clock. Too bad I can't use them and will be returning the unit. …

Too much Static
I loved the fact that this ihome had the lightning connector for my iPhone 5, but the static output is making me return this item. I loved the fact that this ihome had the lightning connector for my iPhone 5, but the static output is making me return this item. I've tried taking the battery out and "rebooting" the product to which the static stopped for 5 minutes then it started back up again. As soon as I unplug the power supply the static stops obviously.
If it weren't for the constant buzzing from the static this would be a great product. …

The iDL95 seems to go a bit darker before cutting the illumination off completely, almost like if you had one more click with the previous model. The light also seems a bit less blue than the previous unit. Both are good things when it comes to sleeping well.
The snooze bar does function as the dimmer control. …
